Carlton Heirloom Magic Ornament 2012 Godzilla - Crushing a Tank - #CXOR049B

Fun, but lacks some lights or effects for the pice.The previous Godzilla ornaments were less expesive and had lights and sound effects.

I really liked this one, I don't use them as Christmas ornaments I set them around the house at Christmas time. Nice Sound

I have been collecting these Godzilla ornaments since 2009 now and they are great additions to the tree every year.

This attractive ornament isn't flashy or come with crashing waves or Godzilla's famous atomic breath flashing from his maw. It does have the de rigueur roar, activated by a small top fin that is well protected by the larger fins below it and won't be as subject to breaking easily as some past push-buttons have been (also not hard to find as some of the past push-buttons have been). The sculpt is really great, really sharp and looks like it is a slightly modified version of the Heisei Godzilla. The ornament itself is heavy and will weigh thinner Christmas tree limbs down so if you're someone who actually likes to hang these types of ornaments you'll want a sturdy branch to support it. The other flaw is a loosely attached Maser tank that will likely easily break off if dropped and landing at the wrong anle. A store display that I came across was missing the tank altogether, probably easily twisted off by an errant child playing with the king of the monsters. I did find a pile of ash in front of the stand...could the big G have incinerated him?

It has the same great roar and that's the only reason I gave it a 1 star. Disappointing because of not lighting up and sound is not really loud. Also just not much design, not like the ones in the past. Hopefully the next years will be better because for $35 I expected it to be alot better. Maybe one with Mothra.

Finally a Godzilla featuring the mazer guns. Fun little ornament with the lights and sounds. You really need to get one.

Really cool. Not as eye catching as last year's, but has great sound and is well detailed. These ornaments rock if you are a Godzilla fan.
