Q: How scratchy is this? I want it to be really exfoliating, like the Keihls bar.

It is very “scratchy” but in the best way. I have chronic dry skin and this strips the dead stuff away without being harmful. I use it every shower. If you have sensitive, painful skin you’ll have to go light on scrubbing. I would not use this on a sunburn, but the moisturizing properties of the body wash make it a great follow up to a sunburn if you are foolish enough to get one. You could successfully use this soap in the peeling phase of a burn, after the pain has subsided.

Q: Are the palm ingredients in this soap the same palm ingredients contributing to the destruction of the rain forest we hear so much about?

Some MARLOWE. Items do contain derivatives of vegetable oils, including palm oil. Our company’s use of palm oil ingredients is largely limited to derivatives of palm and palm kernel oil. Yes you can. I use this soap every day, sometimes multiple times a day.
