I liked that the charger is magnetic so that it's left inside the laptop so it's easier for me to use and not worried about tripping over cables.I found the charging capabilities to be very similar to a normal adapter which is a bit disappointing because this is meant to be fast charging.I also like the fact it doesn't block other usb ports so that I can use others at the same time as this one.I find it quite stable in terms of the performance it seems like a solid device that can work for years which is something rare these days with newer products.I would recommend it to my friends and family but I just wished they can improve the fast charging capabilities so that it actually charges devices much faster.

Compared to my normal USB C cables, charging through the adapter is very fast. As fast as my normal cables. My stock USB C cable charging speed took 1 hour 5 minutes to charge 20% on my laptop. The Magnetic adapter took 1 hour 12 minutes to charge 20% which is practically the sameTransfer speeds seem to be lower than my stock USB C cable by a small amount but not low enough for it to be an issue. I copied a file from one location to another on my internal HDD. The USB C cable that came with my laptop ran at 104MB/s on average whilst the magnetic adapter ran at 92MB/s on averageI used the adapter with my USB C to HDMI adapter. The quality was good in terms of resolution and audio quality from my built-in speakers sounded as good as audio passed through my stock cable.The strength of the magnet is strong enough to make it connect to the adapter. Breakaway of the magnet is good and I have no complaints here. The adapter does block one of my ports, but changing its orientation solves this issue so no problems in that regard.The adapter also works fine with a Desktop PC if you decide to use it there. The build quality of the adapter feels good and sturdy. It does not seem like it would be damaged easily The design of the adapter is good and fits the colour scheme of typical devices it would be plugged into such as laptops.I would easily recommend this adapter for use with a laptop

Update - after my review below! the supplier contacted me and provided a replacement.==Item broke after 6 weeks use and now I can’t even get a replacement since the item is unavailable and there is now way to contact the supplier.

Using the MagX with my phone and its normal cable i was able to charge my phone (Mi 11) in rapid charging mode 55w. I was very happy with this. Using MagX between my phone and laptop (ASUS Zenbook Windows) USB C to USB C i was able to transfer at between 15 to 18.5 Gbps, again very happy with this transfer speed.When testing video output between my phone and LG smart TV i was able to output at 4k resolution (Maximum my tv is capable)The Magnetic Strenght is perfect, adapter does not disconnect by mistake, not too strong to struggle with disconnection.The consideration with Neighboring Ports works Perfect, the USB C port on my laptop is the last one in the row, the adapter did not block access to any ports before it.Compatibility at this stage, I have tested with my phone, Laptop, and TV. All have worked perfectlyThe product appears to me to be high quality and made of high-quality materials.The design of the MagX seems to be well thought out, all the aspects tested well under my usage, I liked how the adapter didn't interfere with other ports.
