This is a very expensive product, but if you are on antibiotics for a long period of time, it is definitely worth every penny. I promise you that if you were to get an infection from a bad bacteria like C difficile, the doctor visit and medication to treat it would cost a lot more than just preventing it in the first place. I do not regret purchasing this at all. While I have used this product many times, I did not use this particular bottle because it was left outside in the mailbox. It wasn't outside long, but it was very hot outside, so the probiotics were very hot to the touch, and the pills themselves are also very hot. I sincerely believe that a product so expensive should be shipped in something that protects it from extreme heat. I'm not sure if the heat damage the probiotics, but Amazon refunded me so I want to a local store and purchase some off the shelf that had not been exposed to heat. That was my only issue, was that the product arrived very hot and because it is a live yeast, I didn't feel safe using it after it had essentially been cooked in the mailbox. That was not Amazon's fault, that was USPS fault. I was home that day to make sure I could receive the package when arrived, but the mail delivery woman didn't honk or hand anyone the package, she just stuck in the mailbox and went on her way. Perhaps Amazon could put something on the outside of this package stating that it is heat sensitive and ask USPS to hand the package to a human instead of leaving it outside.

This is the best probiotic to keep your gut healthy. My doctor recommended it.

Works for me, a little pricey

This product is amazing! I never used to take probiotics, I didn't think they were necessary. But when I got the Norovirus, my whole gut health was shot. I felt nauseous and had diarrhea every day, I was miserable. My doctor told me to take Florastor, that it would help, I was skeptical but desperate. After a week I was almost back to normal. I now take it every day. I highly recommend this product!
