Great USB/Power strip, right-sized for modern life. I'm only getting these big ones from now on. Repeat purchaser!
After buying a couple of smaller USB/AC power strips like this for my spare bedrooms, I realized that for modern people, 3 USB outlets isn't enough. In fact, all the outlets on a small strip with 2 or 3 AC outlets and 3 USB ports will be taken up by USB cords, alarm clock power needs and other random charger or outlet cord needs. Every night I charge a phone and a Bluetooth headset on a bedside table, along with a fan and a laptop I sometimes use in bed. My wife charges her Fit Bit every 2-3 days in addition to her Kindle, iPhone and iPad.We just started using and loving a pair of clamp-on USB-powered headboard lights for our bed, and, boom, we're not only out of USB outlets, but we're out of AC outlets as well. This has become normal life for a huge swatch of humanity. You can either have USB outlets strewn about your house, or consolidate them into the most convenient place, or the place you need to charge things. Using my phone as my alarm clock kind of dictates consolidation in the bedroom. It was frustrating having to pick and choose what to charge, and to move cords around, etc. Well, that is now a thing of the past, this monster is everything I need, and exactly what I wish I had purchased to start with. People, don't waste your money on those smaller, supposedly cheaper power strips. When you realize that you need two of them, and that one of these would have done the job right from the start, you'll get this thing and forget all those little ones.A couple of things I should point out. A 6 foot cord turns out to be a necessity for your end table or headboard needs. Some of the smaller USB outlet strips I got had 3 foot cords, and they were always too short... an extension cord was always needed. Also, these USB outlets are marked as to power. Two are high-power USB 2.1A outlets for fast charging smart phones and tablets. The other 4 are 1A outlets, suitable for normal overnight charging needs. Most other outlet strips are either all low power (so you have to use an AC outlet with a fast-charging transformer to get the 2.1A high-power USB port you need), or say that one is high power and one is normal, but don't bother to mark them. Now it's a guessing game. I like this unit's clarity of markings and ease of use.Long story short, I'm only going to order these units from now on. They are only slightly larger than the smaller USB strips, but WOW, are they more versatile and "once and done". And it is much smaller than TWO of those little strips, let me assure you. The one I got works great, looks good, and was well made - no issues or concerns. I came back to Amazon to order another one right now, which is what prompted me to write this review. Hopefully it will help some of you who are looking at the 10,000 or so USB outlet strips available on Amazon to choose the right one - this one.

Great surge protector with plenty of outlets
I bought this surge protector because I had a cheap one on which the light would go on and off every time it was touched. This one's nice. My laptop and extra monitor plugs fit in very well and I have no issue moving it around when I clean. It also has plenty of well spaced outlets so that I can securely plug in my work laptop without unplugging my personal laptop or calculator. Also, the USB charging ports work extremely well. I was having a lot of difficulty charging my phones. Even though I was using each phone's USB cord with its specific plug, the phones would say 'plug in' or would appear to be charging but not fully charge. Now, I simply plug each USB cord into the charging port, instead of its plug, and I've had no more issues. My phones fully charge rather quickly now. I only got one surge protector to try out and it's with my laptop but we'll definitely be getting a few more for my sons' computers and our shared printer.

Exceeds expectations!
Great powerstrip. I got tired of having to unplug my phone to charge my iPad, or Bluetooth headphones etc. it was like playing Jenga to make all the cords fit in the outlet in my bedroom. This powerstrip solves all these issues, also I can charge my bulkier iPad plug next to my Samsung charger and the fast USB ports really do support fast charging for my IPad Pro and Note 8. I’m am pleased and thoroughly impressed. I was concerned that there were no wall mount holes in the back, but the Velcro tab on the side let my attach it to my night stand conviently.

Not quite perfect, but a great piece of gear nonetheless
I've had this in service for a couple of weeks now and it seems to be working very nicely. I bought it for use in a dedicated charging drawer so the combination of standard plugins and USB jacks was paramount to the plan.I am knocking off a half star because in my opinion the standard plugins are spaced to close together. In this day and age there are simply too many transformers involved and not that many standard cord end plugs, so it makes sense to get some spacing between the outlets to better service transformer plugs. The holy grail would be wider spacing with twistable outlets so you could swing the transformer body East-West or North-South for the best fit depending on the transformer body. Eating up two or three outlets on the strip for a single transformer body becasue of lousy engineering is ridiculous....again, in my opinion. I understand that the size would increase, but I'd gladly accept an overall increase in size if it meant being able to use all 6 outlets. To illustrate my point, as you can see from the picture my 6 primary outlets are used up with only 3 plugged in items because the transformers overhang the adjacent outlets rendering them out of service.I'm knocking off the other half star because the strip wasn't designed with any keyholes in the rear for mounting it to a surface and that's just silly. I ended up doing some careful exploratory drilling with a tiny drill bit to locate adequate void space so I could back-screw into the case to mount the unit to the drawer back. More silly engineering easily remedied. In fact this is the first power strip I've ever had that doesn't have keyhole mounting points, which I though was odd.Overall a good product and the combination of USB and standard power is awesome, but it could use a few refinements to be perfect.

Super power cord with USB ports aplenty!
I love this power cord. I carry it with me travelling, too, because there are never enough outlets in motel rooms or even when visiting at someone's house. Has just enough outlets and USB charging ports to be really useful and keep you charged up. Lightweight so it doesn't weigh you down when travelling. Highly recommend getting at least one and carrying it with you on your travels.
