Wonderful for my weekly Hot Oil Treatment and Deep Condition
I have VERY thick, hip-long, 3c-4a, low porosity hair and I NEED heat to help condition my hair. I tortured myself trying to pick out a hair dryer bonnet that sucked the least. I ended up buying this one because I saw my favorite hair youtuber Naptural85 using this for deep conditioning her hair. It seemed to work well for her so I decided to give this one a try since for the most part, people complained of the bonnet flying off their head from the force of the hair dryer. I think this particular bonnet works great. I use it for 20-30 minutes at a time either for my weekly hot oil treatment or deep conditioning. The chin strap was not uncomfortable, the length of the hose was fine, it didn't fly off my head, and it came with a little pouch and it was easy to put away. The air from the hairdryer can get hot around your neck (even though I use it on low heat), but I wrap one of my daughter's old cotton receiving blankets around the base of my showercap and it keeps the hot air from burning my neck AND soaks up any stray oil that runs. I love this thing. I want to buy one for my sister.

I Recommend!!
(This is the Mrs) Wow, just wow!! Love this. I primarily use it with damp hair and regular sticky type curlers (with the white sticks) or the mini bendable pool noodles (that's what I call them anyway)! I can sit at my computer while using, I just put my ear buds in. Or I'll just sit and read. My hair is very fine and thick, just past shoulder length and this will dry my hair between half hour and one hour depending on just how damp. Make sure to adjust the chin strap and slide tie for comfortable wear. Always use this on the low setting per instructions and you should have a great experience with this. I also give myself a cool blast with the hair dryer at intervals to check the drying status (it also helps set the style). Sure beats wandering around most of the day blasting my curlers with just the hair blower and hoping my hair dries soon!

Helps dry my curls in a fraction of the time
TLDR: This hair dryer bonnet helps me get long lasting curls without frying my hair. The detailed version:After years and years of using flat irons to straighten my hair every day I decided to change things up and try curls. For the record, I am a ginger. I have long, red, naturally wavy hair. After a couple months of frying my hair (and on several occasions, my hand) with a curling wand every day, I decided to try the “wet set” approach but I haven’t used curlers in wet hair since I was in cosmetology school 15 years ago. So after much research I bought a set of flexi-rods but when I was using them it took FOREVER for my hair to dry and it never quite dried all the way through. I tried sleeping in them and even after wearing them for 12+ hours my hair was still a bit damp so the curls just wouldn’t hold at all. This dryer bonnet attachment fixed that problem. Its a very affordable solution and I like that it is compact and fits on pretty much any dryer. I didn't think that the silicone edge on the hose would be strong enough to keep from slipping off the hairdryer nozzle but it totally is, no problems at all with that.It is big enough to fit over a head full off flexirod without messing it up. It does still take about an hour or so to fully dry my hair though, but that’s definitely preferable to my hair just staying damp and not setting. One big problem for me when using this dryer helmet was that it gets uncomfortably hot where the air is blowing out around my face. No matter how I adjusted it, it was burning my ears or my neck or my face. So I kept having to turn the heat off completely which slowed down the drying process. I wasn’t even using my dryer on high heat or anything, I use it on low heat and low power. (I use this with a GHD hairdryer) I was mostly able to solve this problem by using a nice thick terrycloth “spa” style headband. I put my hair up in the flexirods, than wrap the headband around my hairline and then put on this hairdryer bonnet and it doesn’t burn my ears anymore.Other than that, obviously it looks goofy and its a bit loud and limits mobility while you are using it (just like at a hair salon! Yay) but I just put this on and then do some work on my laptop for an hour or so then finish with a few minutes of cold air from the dryer to set it and I have perfect curls that usually last a couple of days.ps: since using this bonnet requires that you have your hairdryer running for a much longer time than it would if you were just doing a blow-out, I highly recommend cleaning the hairdryer filter more often than usual because chances are it’s probably picking up a lot more dust and you don’t want it to get clogged or burn out.

It’s dangerous!
This item is a total rip off! In order to return it they wanted me to pay to mail it back to them. I think they all me a full refund plus a hair dryer not only +10 this item is a total rip off! In order to return it they wanted me to pay to mail it back to them. I think they all me a full refund plus a hair dryer not only plus a new hairdryer! It melted itself and ruined my hairdryer. I was extremely careful to run it only on the low setting as in the instructions. But you can see what happened in the pictures. And I was paying attention. Someone less focused could start a fire with this thing! It’s dangerous!I have to give it one star or they won’t let me post my review. If I had my druthers, I would give this item a -10 stars!

This is the hair dryer attachment to you want to get.
First, the head cap is large and has a chin strap. You need a chin strap so the cap doesn't blow off once you turn on the hair dryer (this is not a feature I saw offered on other options). Second, the tube attaches to the dryer with elastic which creates a tight seal -- also a great feature. Third and last feature, the head cap has a way to tighten the cap around your head to make sure the heat is drying your hair.I put the head cap on, turn on the dryer and the captions on the tv and dry my hair while catching up on my tv shows. AWESOME.

Love this hair dryer attachment! Awesome Purchase!
I absolutely love this hair dryer attachment!! I got this to use for my grandmother who has me roll her hair and dry her hair for her. Before it would take hours for her hair to dry but with this attachment her hair dries in less than an hour. The attachment came in a bag which is very cute and portable. The attachment was easily removable from the bag. The part that connects the dryer to the attachment was very easy to put on the dryer. The attachment is comfortable to wear. I am actually going to be using it on myself as well because I love it so much. Awesome purchase!
