I bought this in 2018 because I was tired of having to keep going back to the pharmacy when they forgot to remove the safety calls on my son's med bottles (he has a disability and without the safety caps, he can take his meds independently). I just used it for the umpteenth time this morning to remove the safety cap on an OTC med for him. And I'm feeling grateful that this product exists to help caregivers like me give people like my son a small dignity when his life doesn't offer too many of those.

It's uncomplicated. It works. It's not expensive. If you think it's going to be helpful, get it.

I learned that the childproof caps on pills are made differently. I totally destroyed one cap to learn this. I would return but I will just throw it away.

Perfect for an elderly person, or any person with bad fingers/hands, to open a pill organizer. Love it.

Better than what they replaced, but not by much; they bend and warp easily

At the time I purchased this it was the only one available on Amazon, so I had no choice even though the reviews were not that great. I agree with most of the reviewers--it bends somewhat easily. Not great for stubborn lids, but it works ok for most other lids. I used to work in a pharmacy where we had a boatload of these things from drug reps. Those openers were STRONG! I wish I snagged one for home use then. Oh well, I'll keep searching for a better one. Until then, this one will suffice.

Good quality. I would order again. It does help in opening some bottles

my mother in law is severely arthritic in both hands and the Rx employees do not pay attention to detail and put non child proof caps, so this was purchased to ease her in removing the child proof cap for hte screw on cap. She says she loves it
