I love this product. It cleans great, and is safe for my delicate septic system.

I have been buying products from this company for over 10 years now. It works great and I love that its powder as I am not paying for water as with other products. I have notice that over about 30-40 loads or so stuff starts to build and you need to clean it out manually but works great other then that.

Its so hard to find a good more natural dish cleaner. I was using clean people and I loved them. However, they use plastic for their pods and dont have a powder only option. I got tired of buying them and cutting the plastic off. They say the plastic melts and is safe but it clogs my dish washer. Also I dont want harsh chemicals on my kids cups and things. This brand doesnt leave a film and is a really good product. I think it cleans my dishes well and the price is agreeable. Is it more money than powders at the store, yes but is it worth my piece of mind and knowing we are safe for using a more natural product, yes. I love this tin BTW! Its just a little hard to open, but I have small children so that's fine. I keep it locked away anyways. I want to buy the soap butter dish as well and switch my liquid soap too. I will be buying as long as they are selling. Great products!

UPDATE: still do not recommend this dish soap. I rinse my dishes before putting them in the washer and this soap isn’t strong enough to completely clean my rinsed dishes. It’s pathetic. I’ve tried another brand that’s non-toxic that DID do the job, I just needed something that was less expensive, so I was hoping this would be the winner. It definitely is not. Will not be buying again.(Original review) I have used it on full and non-full loads and it left white specs on dishes both times (and every time since). I was hopeful it was just my dishwasher getting use to new soap (as if that’s a thing haha) and the white specs would go away, but they haven’t and I’m having to hand wash things after they’ve gone through a cycle with this detergent. It’s very annoying. Just not impressed.

Holy crap! I purchased this product because I was looking for an alternative to dishwasher pods. Trying to eliminate micro plastics. I use Nelly's laundry soda, so I thought I would give this a go. Upon arrival, I was thinking the tin is so small! No way this is 100 loads. I paid 30.00 for it and set my self up on a subscription for every 3 months. Not only are my dishes are clean and residue free, but my first replacement arrived yesterday in the mail. I haven't even gone through half the can!!!! I have a family of seven and we run the dishwasher nightly! The only downside is that it didn't come with a scoop. So I took the little blue spoon from my laundry detergent by the same company. I am seriously impressed! So impressed, that I actually am writing a review; which I next to never do. My guess is that if you buy this product, you won't be disappointed. I personally maybe use the equivalent on a teaspoon to a teaspoon and a half. It does not fill the detergent compartment. That may be why I don't get spots on my glasses. Maybe less is more with this product. Pretty cool either way!

This powder cleans well and leaves no chemical residue or scent on my dishes and utensils. I ordered the small bag first to try it out. When I reorded I got the tin. Unfortunately the tin arrived dented. I could live with that but it was also really difficult to open. I sent it back. I'm going to try to find it locally so I can quit using Amazon.

Nellie’s dishwashing powder gets my dishes super clean without any harsh chemicals. I feel good using it—simple, effective, and eco-friendly. Definitely a staple in my kitchen!
