I bought these specifically to use for my sourdough, and they’ve been fantastic. Recommended by another sourdough maker. The scoop end is perfect for mixing and feeding my starter without making a mess, and it reaches into jars really well. The spreader side does an excellent job scraping the sides clean so nothing goes to waste. The silicone is flexible yet sturdy, and it doesn’t absorb odors or stains. The nylon handle feels solid and comfortable to hold, and everything cleans up easily by hand or in the dishwasher. These have quickly become one of my favorite tools for sourdough baking, and I use them all the time. I highly recommend these and plan to buy another one.

I love these for the butter bowl/container, got tired of finding a full length metal dinner knife stuck in the butter and did'nt want dinky butter spreader knives like what you would see at a party, and decided to order these. They are awesome, lighter in weight than a metal utensil, one end is a flexible spoonlike spreader kinda thing, and the other end stays clean! I love these and off into the dishwasher they go, no problem. They are also handy for frosting cupcakes, and spreading cream cheeses on a bagel, you get the message. And the colors are attractive too!

This is a great tool for managing my sourdough starter. The scoop end is perfect for removing starter and measuring on my scale. The other end is great for scraping sourdough starter off the edges of my jar. I haven't used it for other things, as I bought it primarily for my sourdough baking. It's sturdy and really handy.

Very useful kitchen item. Both sizes work well. Works very well for scooping out pet food cans. You do have to be careful not to cut the soft silicone side on the inside rim of cans. It's also a very good spreader.

I wanted to make sure this scooper/stirrer/scraper wouldn't fail me after many uses, so I waited until I had owned and beat up on it it for about a year before writing this review. After a year of using it for everything from getting the last of the peanut butter or honey out of the jar, to spreading frosting, to making scrambled eggs, to being the one and only tool I need to make homemade chocolate fudge, it looks and feels just like new. It's better than a butter knife for scraping the last bits of anything gooey out of cans or jars because it has more surface area, has a slight amount of give to deal with irregularly shaped cans or jars, and is much easier to scrape off and clean than a metal knife. It's also more comfortable to hold in my hand vertically - knives are basically made to be held horizontally while this is great as a stirrer - or in any other application where you are holding it more or less straight up and down. In fact, when I make homemade fudge I use it to get all the sweetened condensed milk out of the can, then I use it to stir the fudge while it is cooking, and then to get the fudge out of the pot and lay it out to cool. So much more efficient than multiple spoons and knives! It cleans up easily even from very sticky things - just dish soap and warm water. I haven't tried putting it in the dishwasher because by the time I rinse it off, it is so clean it seems pointless to do anything more than let it air dry before I use it again. Medium high stove heat doesn't seem to bother this tool at all, and because of its shape and (slight) "give"/flexibility it does a much better job than spoons as a stirrer for keeping things from getting stuck to/burnt on the bottom of pots. It feels like I can really get at the bottom of a potful of anything thick (like fudge) and avoid the hotspots I seemed to get when I used spoons for this purpose. The purple color is an added bonus - a fun way to brighten up all kinds of kitchen chores. If I could only have one tool for all kinds of food preparation, this would be it.

Hands-down, this is the best tool for scraping cleaning scooping & mixing. I use it for maintaining bread starters, & all batter recipes. The larger size replaces my favorite spatula. The large size fits into Weck jars of all sizes to mix and cleanly scoop. It is a breeze to clean very versatile. Highly recommended.. It is well made & I expect it will last years.
