Why did you pick this product vs others?:Happy with our first choice for bulk tallow for deep frying. I compared prices and reviews, and this seemed a pretty safe bet. I knew with it being summer there was a risk it would leak, but couldn't wait. Thankful it was wrapped in plastic, it was messy. I'll make a point to stock up over winter. It smells as expected with no hint of rancid smell. We really enjoyed our first try in it- monte cristos, yum, and homemade fries. My teens agreed it would encourage them to order less fried food when out, knowing it could be just as tasty at home (and we can then control the ingredients, yay!). I appreciate the rectangular tub for it's space efficiency in the fridge/freezer. I also plan to buy the larger quantity next time, for the price break. Storing it or finding friends to split it with will be worth it, to get this healthy oil. I told my family I was only willing to get a deep fryer if we used tallow in it (or avocado, but it's no cheaper).

I like the product and have used this tallow in soap products in the past, but it arrived open and leaking within the box. It is not usable. I was able to contact the Seller for prompt refund.

This is one of the best Beef Tallows you can purchase. I use it for making soap and its text is solid! Comes in great resealable container. Has faint hint of rendered beef but does not leave any smell in soap. Texture is great! I haven't tasted it and I'm not going to haha, I use it for cold processed soaps and it performs great!

Got home today and opened the box. Shipping box sealed well however, inside the box, plastic container lid opened and oil leaks everywhere. What a mess! And it's not refundable! Never buy again!

Portioned this out, vacuumed sealed and froze. Good taste
