There are no instructions except how to measure, but I worked it out: the piece with the bead cord goes in the end you want, and the littler plastic thing goes in the other end of the roll. They keep the shade on the brackets. It is really quite simple once you figure it out.

I want to like this product, because it does what it's supposed to do. However, dealing with the imperfections is a huge hassle.The first item arrived and it was clearly used and returned. The hardware was very scuffed, screws were stripped out, the blind had wrinkles, bends and a hole. I bent the hardware back into shape and replaced the screws with my own. Our curtains covered the hole on the side but paying for a new item, I expect it to be new.I submitted for an exchange and the replacement was sent. This one is clearly a new item. I thought it would be a simple swap between blinds. Yet, the metal piece inside of the new blind is cut just a tad too long and does not fit. Tapping it into place just make the whole thing solid and will not spin to bring the blind up or down.I tried to submit for another exchange but now they will only allow for a refund. At this point it's become such a hassle to deal with anymore and we're just stuck with the first one.

This was a big mistake. The instructions are non existent. Cannot figure out how to install it at all. No way to contact the company, this was a waste of money. Save yourself the trouble do not order. The parts do not fit. I am over it. unless the company contacts me and helps me I hope no one buys a shade from them. i ordered it in March and have been very busy and now i cannot return it. Stay away from this company. I hop amazon gets involved.

Don't bother hunting for the right size and color of shades in stock at your local store. Amazon is the best place to find what you need. Is the quality of the shade worth the price? YESThe shade material is substantial. The aluminum band at the bottom adds appropriate weight to the shade and finishes the shade nicely. Everything is included to install it with average skills. I don't like the plastic chain. An improvement I might suggest is that that chain be powder-coated metal to match the shade. Is that asking too much for an otherwise great value shade?

I had some fabric shades that were okay but didn't offer much for light blocking. My space faces north so i get sun all day. These work well and aren't as noticeable as traditional blinds or fabric ones. I installed mine set into the frame so there is a small gap on the left and right that light can come through but it's minimal. Make sure to measure your windows because although they may look the same size - especially with older homes- they might be an inch or so different. Install is extremely easy and takes a few minutes

The media could not be loaded.  I love it so much! It was so easy to install. I bought this because I used to have those plastic blinds and were practically falling apart and not durable. I wanted something long term for my room and I’m happy it was a perfect fit. It is very easy to open and close (I was using one hand in the video so it was hard 🤣) and completely makes my room dark since my room does receive a lot of sunlight. I took the video around 4PM which my room does receive a lot of sunlight and it’s handy when I want to take an afternoon nap in the dark.
