The chocolate and coconut are my favorite bar and a definite go-to after a work out or for a quick on the road breakfast. The other flavors just don’t come together as well.

I was a sales rep for Zing and they are very good. I just started buying them again after 6-7 years. They do taste different and I was unaware of the formula change. They are still very good but I am glad that I read a review about the formula change. I will not buy them for $40. $24 is fair, but I saw a reminder email to purchase them again at the cost of $40. I will not buy that flavor until it is back to $24. Price gouging is not acceptable when Zing is low on inventory in one or two flavors. If the retailer paid regular wholesale price and then marks it up $16 more than the regular retail, then that is price gouging. Not cool

I used to be OBSESSED with Zing bars. Sometime in the last year they changed their recipe and Zing is no longer the one for me.

I used to regularly purchase Zing coconut protein bars, took a break, and am just returning.While I do appreciate the low(er?) sugar, I don't love the reformulation. The bar has lost its uniquely strong chocolate coconut flavor - potentially overpowered by the almond butter? It's a good bar, well rounded bar, but admittedly, I liked the old version better. This new version is also even softer than the previous version, making it nearly impossible to bring on bike rides or anyplace warm.

I don't know what make it's different we have had the mini mint version one and it was fine , no melt , no mess but not this one I got from Amazon.

I love the flavor and texture of these bars. They are truly delicious and serve as a nice filling snack or even a light meal. I wish the price would come down a bit, though.

I think along with the new packaging the ingredients are different. I started purchasing Zing bars almost a year ago and they were great. I tried other bars and came back to these. They taste different now but not as good in my opinion. I live in Florida and was so disappointed when I got my box from the Prime delivery person. They were all melted! Maybe some consideration as to where the product is to be shipped would be in order.

If you like coconut, you'll love these. They're made with simple, natural ingredients and have 5 grams of fiber and 10 grams of protein. They have a satisfyingly chewy texture, kind of like a coconut macaroon, and the flavor is great--mostly coconut, with pieces of cashew. I have them as an afternoon snack, and they hold me until dinner. The price is competitive for a protein bar.
