Not quite a swaddle blanket, my sleeping bags mimic the feeling each baby had in utero, when he had just enough room to practice his kicks and enjoy the feeling of his naked legs rubbing against each other restricted safely by mom's belly. Since they snuggle your baby just right, I lovingly named them Snuggelu. My Snuggelus come in three warmth's: Extra Warm is lined with an extra plush, extremely soft blanket thick lining. These are warm enough to use as blankets at night or during very chilly winter days. The Warm lining is lined with 100% cotton Flannel, not as warm as the blanket type, but still very soft. The Cooler lining is a 100% cotton Jersey lining. These are perfect for warmer spring and summer days, when you want to give your baby the opportunity to still feel the restricted movement they loved so much before birth, but you don't really need the warmth the other two linings provide. There are no buttons, zippers, or anything hard on these sleeping bags, and they are fully machine washable. Each Snuggelu is handmade in a smoke free environment. Simply dress your baby in a top or body, but leave his legs uncovered before putting on the Snuggelu. He will still be able to kick, but just like he did before birth, he will be able to feel his skin and you don't ever have to worry about him getting cold. Since none of my fabric is treated with antiflamable chemicals, these sleeping bags are not to be treated as sleepwear but rather as blankets.
