Leather finishes are temperature sensitive. Once they get down in the 40-50 degrees or lower they 'break' (the chemicals separate) and they are useless. Bought this gallon and it's pretty much useless for it's intended purpose. Guess I'll just use it to teach a kid's leathercraft class
