PUR PLUS Faucet Mount Replacement Filter 2-Pack, Lead Reduction, RF99992

Original replacement filters that fit my PUR faucet system exactly as expected. Water flows well and tastes crisp. Will buy again

I enjoy using the PUR Faucet Replacement filters, the water is refreshing and tastes good. I keep replacement filters on hand, it is easier than lugging cases of water out of the car and up the stairs. Not to mention disposing of the plastic bottles. I have been using PUR FAUCET REPLACEMENT FILTERS for many years.

This 2 pack was easy to find them at the stores. It is cheaper than the stores. Quick delivery the product says one filter is good for three months, but I’m averaging 2 1/2 months or less. I like that Amazon offers refills. The store makes you buy the whole faucet and filter pack again.

Use this on the sink. Works great. I refill bottles over and over. Saved on many plastic water bottles.

This works pretty well. It takes some mildly to moderately bad tasting water from my town and turns it into good tasting water rivaling any bottled water I've had (makes sense since almost all bottled water comes from municipal water supplies anyway). It's easy to install. The only annoying thing is that it doesn't last anywhere near 3 months unless you are okay with it taking 5x as long to fill a glass of water at the point that you replace it. It's mainly me that drinks the water from this and within about 1-1.5 months it gets partially clogged to the point that it takes several times as long to fill a glass of water. I'll still get a green light indicating the filter is still good, but I am not interested in standing at the sink for 1-2 minutes just to get a glass of water. If you keep your sink clean, you'll probably want to just put the glass down with the water running and walk away for a couple minutes. I'd guess when the filter is new it probably takes about 15-20 seconds to fill a pint glass in my apartment. After a month, around or slightly under a minute. At 3 months, over a minute. If you can, skip pur/Brita filters and just install a whole house filter, preferably the wider "big blue" style of filter. That's what I did in my previous house and it was inexpensive since I do plumbing work, but it's still inexpensive to hire a plumber for such a simple job. The filters lasted 3-6 months and when using relatively good 1 micron filters, the improvement in the water taste was still almost as good as this, plus it helped keep my water heater, shower, and other things cleaner from mineral deposits. But if you're in an apartment and it's this or nothing, this is still a great improvement. Just don't assume you'll get 3 months out of it.

Update: since using the new filters with the pull tab something isn’t right. These new filters continue to leak water once I turn it off, the filters that came with my original unit didn’t do that. I don’t understand why this is happening but it’s a waste of water. The water leaking from the PUR filter shouldn’t happen so not sure if I like these newer filters

These work really well. We have hard water and it is way more economical and environmentally friendly to use this vs bottled water. I use the subscribe and save to save even more and make sure I am always able to replace when needed. I use the recommended time of every 3 months. I do the equinox dates to make it easy to remember. They are very easy to install. I do wish my bathroom sinks had spouts that would work well with these so we could get water to drink from other faucets as well. The water flow does slow as it gets close to replacement time. They could certainly be changed early is that was a problem for you.

Great filters, but they definitely don't last 6 months, for us, probably closer to 4 months.

Filtra perfecto, adiós garrafones!😃

As always great. For people complaining about not getting original product. Order from USA seller, its always original, 10 quid cheaper and arrives within 7 days.
