CURAD KNUCKLE, WOVEN BLUE DETECTABLE BANDAGE are a must in restaurants. Curad makes some high quality bandages. You never know you need a knuckle bandage until you actually need one, and you will never know how well they work until you have actually used one! Knuckles are tough to tape up, especially if you are in a hurry, in the middle of a shift, or if you are constantly having to bend your fingers. The blue color makes them easily detectable in food, making them Ecosure inspection approved. These are so durable that I would say they are commercial grade, but I am no expert to be able to make such claims. I keep these at home also. They are not the most aesthetically pleasing, and the big blue bandage definitely makes your injury look way more serious than a little minor cut. I had a blister from some heels I was wearing and used one of these bandages. Let me tell you, these are amazing in the heel areas also. Use your imagination and these bandages are cut just so that you could mold and shape around creases and folds of anything you may need to cover up. I do not work for Curad or any of these companies. I just know these are great and deserved a great review. They make straight regular bandages also. I believe they also make flesh colored variations for personal home use. These are just like a regular bandage with the exceptions of them being knuckle band aids and Blue. That represents metal detection in food production. They are not rectangular in shape. The almost resemble a letter "H". This enables the bandage to cover the knuckle and then wrap the "H" legs around the finger. This helps hold the band aid in place better and longer because there isn't a much stress in the entire band aid. I purchased these for my son as a job necessity requirement. They work well.

Sticks well and stays put even when I washed my hands. Cost 1 pt because mfg shipped box in a bag and the box was damaged during shipping causing the band aids to fall out.

I had my doubts about this product when I bought it -- I mean, who makes a BLUE bandage, right? Well, when I got them I opened up the package and took one out. Had the usual sterile (as sterile as you can get) individual packages, that were relatively easy to open --- so much better than the cheap Chinese stuff that you can't open with a knife and a jackhammer!Inside was the expected bandage type, only in bright blue. It's kind of shiny, so I assume the metallic part must be a metal thread they incorporate into the weave. Felt really tough and durable in my hand, like almost bulletproof.I didn't have an active wound, but decided to try it on the tip of my finger, where the most difficult cuts are when I get them (yes, I know, it's a knuckle bandage, but it can also work really well on the end of a finger). I tried this method because bandages are notorious for coming off my finger tips at the most inconvenient times.Well, this thing wrapped around my finger like it was meant to be there. Solid adhesion without being 'grabby'. Felt like my finger could do anything without worry after this was on. And it STAYED on my fingertip until I chose to take it off.A+ product in my opinion. Would have no problem buying this again or recommending to a friend (in fact, when I meet one of my nurse friends later this week I am going to take a few to her so she might put them in her personal first aid kit).

So glad to find a pack of bandages that’s just for knuckles. In-store options give you a small-count combo with fingertip bandages but you can hack regular bandaids for fingertips better anyway.The only thing that might improve the knuckle bandaids is if they were X-shaped rather than H-shaped. I don’t have large fingers or knuckles but it was awkward contouring the bandaids over my knuckles.The bandaids stick well and the gauze adds the slightest padding if you’re constantly brushing your hand against things. I even used the bandaids to hold gauze over a knee scrape since I lacked larger bandaids and the medical tape I initially used irritated my skin. Multi-use and non-irritating a plus!

Safety-visibility blue is standard in the restaurant industry and I'm happy to have been able to buy these for my home as well.
