BassAckwards is a Treasure of the Heart and Soul of what it means to be very, very human and Hool~Fearty..this wonderful movie is Beant To Me!..and..and..You can Wake my Tord for it!It was indeed most ASSuredly..Undoubtably and ASSumingly...but, ASSpecially it was...ASSperational!!.."Now Think! if you will~What IF?~you tempted fate by facing your worst Fears..Dreams..ASSpirations of the Heart, with the same brave face as Chloe and Katie in all of your dirty circumstances..just like a child would [an innocent, nice, loving child]...well, then you would become something instead of simply being ol' miserable, rotten self".This movie proves that being #1 or #2 is not all it's [ass]cracked up to be...it's a bit like this..If ya gotta go number one.?...Weeee, Pee Freely anywhere. But, iffn' ya gotta go number two~?? Squat way, way over there..and pullleeze!.. Don't stink up tha joint!Now, if you are a number three [like me], your joy comes from the joy and wonder you see in the mirror each day. I admittedly watched this wth low expectations, but to my delight found this very entertaining. Raphael and Wilson are a great team and the both look beautiful while making fools of themselves . The film itself has heart in addition to laughs and some of your favorite character/comedic actors provide supporting roles as well.Honestly the film should be titled "Kate & Chloe" because you learn quickly to love the main characters and invest in their pathetic but fun journey.The rape whistle scene was funny and layered and even tho this is one of those dumb comedies it has its moments of brilliance

I rented this on Amazon on September 30th before it was available for purchase. I plan on owning it soon.Nearly lifelong friends, Kate and Chloe have built a fantasy world around themselves to hide from a childhood trauma. Chloe, "dances," for a living, while Kate is so desperate, she sells her own eggs. Up until now, failed personal and professional lives due to one horrible event isn't enough to keep them from holding on to the most important thing in their lives, each other.However, one day a mysterious letter arrives, bringing the past back in a nightmarish fashion. Now Kate and Chloe must hit the road to confront their demons. The many hardships they face include being attacked by a violent group living off the grid on a wooded commune, the near death of close friend Andrew, drug addiction, a swarm of lab created progeny, and A-ha.Can Kate and Chloe win the contest of good vs. evil, defeat their past, and shape their own future? Will this legendary friendship survive?Several excellent supporting roles help shape this atmospheric road trip thriller. It offers so much tension, I found myself in nervous laughter for close to 3/4 of the film. With a satisfyingly disturbing ending, I recommend you buy and watch this with the lights on, and with friends.Just an extra note. Much like some other great movies in the past like Poltergeist, The Omen, and Rosemary`s Baby, it seemed that there were forces at work to keep the production from happening. Urinate on the Devil's sidewalk, and don't let him scare you away. Thankfully the filmmakers didn't, and now we have Ass Backwards.

I have seen both these actresses in other films and shows. They're very good but this film isn't. Actually, all the actors in this movie are great. Someone needs to put the two leads in a good, funny series! I'd watch it. All three stars are for the acting that made this watchable.

This movie is all the better for not coming out of Hollywood. Independent film makers have options-- as in not following a formula. Quality, good writing, and like-able characters. This makes the movie sound trite-- it is not, I loved it.

Light-hearted movie and enjoyable. The two characters are really fun and quirky. Not a laugh-out-loud kind of movie but still fun.

Loved it! Possibly I went into it with very, very low expectations because of the other reviews, but I really enjoyed it. It followed an arc . . . hero's journey, all that jazz. Some parts dragged a bit but overall it was a hoot and a half. Just watch Wine Country on Netflix (a ladies' trip movie featuring a lot of fabulous comic greats) which was, sadly, just awful. Ass Backwards nails it much better. It's a little absurd but you have to lean into that. There's something weirdly feminist about a movie where the women are such flawed, complicated characters. You tend to either get "perfect woman who does it all" or basically cardboard characters who support men. The women in Ass Backwards are rotten but you pull for them.

An abomination of a moview. My god so bad. Not funny not clever. Blatant rip off of romey and Michelle (which is amazing! ). Avoid. Spare yourself.
