Varathane Triple Thick Polyurethane Matte Wood Finish

Well what what do you get with this. It looks like any other polyurethane for the most part it a quick glance. But don't be fooled this is more than your ordinary polyurethane. It Is water-based. It has UV protections in it to keep it from yellowing It also mentions an additive they make to make it last even longer. And like all polyurethanes it's one of the most durable ceiling coats you can use. With it being water-based make sure that if you are going to use stain or any other type of sealant it is a water-based stain or sealant as well Do not use an oil one or they will not be compatible with each other. What makes this polyurethane unique and a little more costly, but justifies the price, is that it coats at three times the effectiveness and volume. It is thicker than any polyurethane that I've ever used. Despite that it doesn't seem to clump or drip excessively. It transfers to and from the brush or roller in a clean uniform way. I used it on my workbench that is an outfeed for my table saw. Wood glides great across the surface. So far it's offered excellent protection and waterproofing capabilities fulfilling just what I need from a durable clear sealant. With a glass like finish. So if you're in a rush and don't want to wait between each coat, for it to dry, this is a great product to have on hand.

Sprayed on easily and I love the matte finish, rather than a shiny finish. Will use it on several additional projects.

Great coverage, nice product.

Better than I expected plus I could not find this in the stores.

Works very well, I used it on my work bench in the garage. It drys quickly, perfectly clear almost no steel wool required.

Have used this for years!

Leaves a white film on dark wood and a yellow film on white wood. Do not get this, it will not work and they do not allow returns. It made my dry spackle artwork turn yellow as an example. Thought it might be due to it not being wood. Tried on various woods with similar lackluster results.

Superb coverage Fast to dry and cure Easy to use

The spray arrived broken, unfortunately I didn’t notice it right away

Excelente producto y fácil de usar, afortunadamente lo compré en un buen precio porque ahora veo que está al doble
