Works great! Will melt though if left in sun or heat

I recently used the Mothers 17240 Speed Clay 2.0 on my car, and I have to say, it’s an absolute game-changer! The clay bar is so easy to use, and it quickly removed all the contaminants from my car’s paint. I was amazed at how smooth and shiny the surface looked after just one use. It’s also much faster than traditional clay bars, and it saved me a lot of time, which is always a plus. The design makes it super easy to hold, and the clay didn’t crumble or leave any residue behind. I paired it with the Mothers clay lube, which worked perfectly to keep the surface lubricated during the process.

Lasts many years. Makes a big difference if you do this with some suds in a bucket before your wax job. Will wax much easier and wax lasts longer regardless of wax brand.

It is a great product to use on your vehicle before waxing. It won’t replace regular clay bar but is a good alternative if you have light buildup or simple do not feel like doing a full clay bar routine.

Soooo much easier than standard clay, just rinse with water, I used rinsless wash with water, if you feel it is dirty and continue. Felt like I was just washing the care with this instead of a sponge. Very easy and reusable, perfect for those who are nervous about figuring out the standard clay bar.

I've used this thing a few times and it definitely is a sizeable improvement over traditional clay. Way less frustrating, way less effort, and no kneading of clay required. It doesn't conform to the shape of what you're working on basically at all though - which is a major drawback and maybe why you should consider a clay towel instead. It doesn't work perfectly for truly wrecked paint jobs but it does work fairly well on relatively clean stuff. The thing I need to say here is that if you're storing this - it needs to be in a temperature controlled environment where you won't see it getting above 80-90F. I store a lot of my auto-detailing stuff outside exposed to the sun but in weather sealed containers. (No moisture gets in or out - just gets warm due to the sun) The issue is that this thing literally melts and adheres to the plastic it came in. When I was done with it - I put it back in the package and when I went to get it out the next time... It was practically glued to the plastic. Taking it out tore some of the foam backing and made it a little deformed. It still works - kinda - but I'm looking for a replacement product and I won't be going back to this. I think clay towels or something else would probably be preferable over this. I've used a clay pad on my polisher and actually found that pretty great - but that's only good for *big* and flat surfaces as it has the same issue as this... can't conform to anything.

This thing is insanely easy to use and leaves your paint feeling absolutely brand new. I am VERY impressed at the results and I would recommend this to every single car lover.

Results using Speed Clay were as good as the traditional clay bar but the prep was far easier with the egonomic pad. Not too sure on the longevity but after one whole car application the pad looked as good as new and when I dropped it a quick rinse got me going again.

Ho voluto provare questo pad di decontaminazione ...beh e più veloce di sicuro della clay bar...ma sulle tracce di catrame o residui di resina la vecchia clay bar non la batte nessuno....questo pad e ottimo se non si vuole lucidare l auto dopo la contaminazione...poiché non lascia le classiche righe della clay...insomma buono da avere ma non indispensabile.. prezzo caro
