This Panasonic Lumix 35mm L-mount lens for the Lumix S5 series cameras is truly exceptional. Very sharp at all apertures, fast and accurate autofocus, great balance. The Lumix F1.8 series are all excellent lenses. Collect them all!

I ordered the 35mm and first received an 85mm the return process was horrible. Even though I returned the wrong lens the next day it took a month before I received a refund for it. I ordered the lens again and thankfully received the correct one second try. Now on to the lens itself. It's a great addition for my S5 and works great. If you haven't tried one of the prime lenses yet you need too. They look amazing and are all pretty much the same size and weight so if your using a gimbal these make it that much easier. This lens is a perfect addition for any Lumix S camera.

This is one of the best Panasonic lenses on the market. It's sharp and really good for pictures or video. I think it should be on your list for one of the first lenses you buy for the S5II, S9, and any future Panasonic cameras.

It doesn’t have built-in lens stabilization but I think it doesn’t need it. AF performance is OK, might perform better on an S5II.I’m not a pro but I could certainly say the output of this lens is fantastic. It’s almost clinically perfect to my eyes, bokeh is great since it’s for a full frame sensor. Since it looks so perfect it kinda doesn’t have much of a character but I guess that’s the point for modern lenses.

I picked this lens up for shooting studio chroma key. It has been excellent. All shots were takes on the first day. With an f of 1.8 you can dial down your lights and still get great separation. This has made set up and post much faster for me practically paying for the lens. I am looking forward to outside shots with this lens.

This lens give great results using it with my S5. The images are tack sharp. The focus is smooth and predictable. I’d be happy with this lens at a higher cost. Given its reasonable price it’s a real winner.
