Works great... the on-board blue LED is on output pin #2
A previous reviewer said that there was not an on-board LED...Mine has a Blue LED on output pin #2 which works.

My first venture into LED lighting via ESP32...easy
I've enjoyed learning how to install WLED onto this little board (only took 3 minutes). This is definitely the route to go if you decided that some of the premade LED lighting options will not work for your application. Will be buying more for other projects around the house

Avoid these
Serious Wi-Fi issues - I could get them to connect if they were within 3 feet of my access point, anything further away and these are useless. Don't waste your money on this brand.

good quality well built esp32
unlike some other esp32 boards these are the dual core with user LEDs onboard.I have had zero issues with the serial ports and programming these with micropython and the arduino IDE, good value! definite thumbs up, well, at the time I bought them anyway ;-)

Good product and value
Good product and worth the money. No problem uploading firmware and has been in production with no glitches
