odd design as its rectangular but it works
bought for my mom and so far no issues; soft enough and yet firm enough to maintain its shape and form.However if you have a smaller bum the oval or round shape maybe better.Staisfied!!!

Amazed! Butt-relief after months suffering pressure-point pain/sores (required to lie only on back)
Delighted and surprised to find relief was immediate and beyond all expectations. Got my best sleep in months. Pleased (also surprised) cushion thickness works "just right". First tried 2 nights ago--now seeking info on how to avoid new pressure point issues ...

Softness.
Unable to hold its sponginess. Did not expect it to harden like regular cushions. There are cheaper options with same results. The reason I went for the product was I wanted something different.
