Great improvement over my old Coleman stove
This compact, light weight stove works just great. So much easier to use than the old Coleman stove using Coleman fuel. No dealing with heating a catalyst to get a controlled blue flame. Fires up easier than a gas range, has a very hot flame that heats things quickly. I love the design.

Fantastic
I love this thing! I am disabled and am very limited on how I can do my cooking. This makes my life so much easier, and works very well. As the cook in my house my entire family is very glad I made this purchase.

Simple, Easy to Use, Good Value
I was initially disappointed when I received this, because the stove itself was bent (along the edge beside the can) so I couldn't close the lid over the butane can properly. Also, the plastic carrying case is cracked. So that's a bummer. But I was in the middle of a power outage and needed to use it right away. I was able to bend the metal back enough to close the lid, and I duct-taped the cracked case. By the time my power came back on a few days later I decided I wouldn't bother returning it. I'm not taking stars off since I did have the option to return it, however I would note that the metal is super thin and light so it's not very durable. This is definitely not a heavy duty item by any means. On the positive side of that, being lightweight makes it easy to carry and travel with.I also ordered the Gas One brand butane cans and got the 4-pack. I only plan to use this during power outages as I live in the woods and lose power several times a year, often for a week or two at a time. I poured 2 mugs of water into a metal coffee pot and it came to a full boil in just under 4 1/2 minutes; I consider that fast. The butane cans are extremely easy to put in the stove, for some reason the directions made it sound tricky but it's not, you just stick the can in with the arrow facing up and it snaps into place. The ignition option worked instantly and the flame is strong! I almost bought an 8,000 BTU brand but decided on this because it was a few bucks cheaper. I don't think I'm missing a thing, this throws plenty of heat to boil water and cook. This is meant for the outdoors technically, although hotels often use these for table-side cooking. Just be mindful to use it in a well ventilated space so carbon monoxide won't be an issue. Also, be careful of the surface you put it on as the bottom is wide open and the unit does get hot from use.

Solid and Light
I ditched my two burner propane camp stove. I never used both burners. I looked at the comparable stoves offered by Coleman and this one is lighter and better built. The build and weight is about the same as the Primus stove REI sells for $175.

petite
I love gas because of instant heat control. I never use the electric stove. Nothing to clean. I use a large ceramic tile to cover the electric burners and that opens up more counter space with the burner on top. Very happy with my purchase. Very cost effective.

Awesome potable butane stove for KBBQ!
We use this for korean bbq = pork belly and kaibi short ribs! This works perfect with a korean BBQ grill aluminum teflon-coated grill pan which we cook it outdoors to help with cleanup since kbbq does splash oil/grease and there's going to be smoke/grease vapors from cooking. Heats quickly to 450degF (set on high) and the pork and beef ribs are ready in a matter of 7 minutes or so. You will have buy butane cans in blocks of 4 cans or so at a time since you will have to replace/rotate often. Grill tip to save on fuel and maximize heating potential - butane/propane will lose heating potential the colder it gets outside. Store your butane cans indoors at 70-75deg and shake them (just like your 15 lb propane tank) as shaking the fluid creates heat and increases BTU/hr heating potential. Also use your gas stove in your kitchen to "preheat" the kbbq grill pan and use an oven mitt to putt it on this butane stove - it will save fuel on your butane cans!
