I wanted a front plate solution for my Model Y that was not stuck directly onto the front bumper. This SnapPlate product was the perfect solution. It takes 5 seconds to mount or unmount, but stays on super securely when mounted. I can quickly and easily remove it for photos or car washes. Super light weight, works exactly as advertised!

This product should serve the purpose of holding the front licence plate on my model Y. Otherwise, tesla would attach the plate with tape, a method that others report can let the plate easily fall off.

I really wanted to like this product based on online reviews. 3D printed holder felt cheap and did not inspire sense of sturdiness. The provided screws were undersized for Canada BC plates. If you check out vendor site, they will sell you larger screw at additional cost. Their customer service needs to improve. They don’t take honest feedback well. For the price of this item, it is way overpriced, and you would need to pay even more to make it work in BC.I will be returning this product.

I’m glad I had a spare plate frame with smaller holes to install snaplate
