Fits XDM Elite 9mm With Brilliantly Small Form Factor
The light and laser are sufficiently bright and the operation of the light is seamless. The various modes allow you to use it as a light, laser, or laser and light combo. I find it a tad difficult to use the light in momentary mode by holding the button, but tapping for it to stay on works well.Install was fairly straightforward and it fits my Springfield Armory XDM Elite v2 9mm perfectly. It is attached very sturdily and the small form factor of this light has little impact on the weight of the firearm. The form factor is small enough that even with a simple Bianchi Leather Strip Style Holster, the pistol fits comfortably and is still easily concealable. My biggest concern when buying a light for my pistol was small form factor. This light makes it seem like it is practically built-in. It reminds me of the built in lighting system on a Taser X26. I like that about it.

Honest review
This thing honestly is awesome. The price point is very reasonable for a light laser combo. It mounts very securely. Rated at 100 lumens I was expecting to be disappointed at the output but not even close. Quite surprised actually. It’s perfect for inside the house and around a small yard. That being said a 100 lumens doesn’t carry that far outside. If you shine it out into an open field you can see how quickly it fades. If you plan on blinding something from 10m (~30ft) you will be disappointed. If you hear a bump in the night and need to investigate then this is perfect. The laser works well and is easy to adjust. No complaints on that.I’ve seen lots of people complaining about stripping the screws and I can see why. 1) The included hex key is garbage. 2) see number 1.Luckily I had a micro bit set from other hobbies and used the hex bit from that. Had zero problems with stripping. So I would recommend either buy a micro hex set or be really careful when using the included key.5/5 would buy again

Great laser/light combo
Originally purchased this item and received it with either missing or stripped windage/elevation screws, so got a replacement in two days and that one had all parts. Woot!Extremely pleased with how easy it was to install on my XD subcompact - took all of 15 min. Literally fits like it should be a feature of the weapon, not an aftermarket product. Be careful not to tighten the screws too tightly as it would be very easy to do so and either strip the screws or the allen wrench that comes w it.Once installed w batteries operation is pretty simple - press both sides to change modes - light only, light and laser, laser only - and then press either button once to activate in that mode. I lucked out in that my finger length is perfect to activate when holding the weapon at ready.I have to admit I am pretty impressed with this little combo after using it and a few visits to the range. Extremely simple to zero in (was able to do it at the house with a tape measure and open wall @10 yds). Verified the zero at the range and proceeded to throw some lead at some paper. My own pathetic technique aside, my groupings were at least consistent @ the zeroed range. 200 rounds later, went home and cleaned it and did the same thing the following week. Got to the range and zero was still there, as was my less than stellar technique, but a little better at least.Battery life is pretty decent considering the type of battery and the amount of light each puts out. Fresh batteries in on the day I got it. Have used it intermittently at home to gauge brightness in and outside and zero in the laser. Then at the range both times for about an hour each time with both light and laser being used. So total, around 20 days with maybe 3 hours total use and the brightness of the light or laser has not dimmed from day one.The light is only 100 lumens, but bright enough to do the job of illuminating anything within 20' it's pointing at enough to actually recognize your target.Overall I am VERY pleased with this little combo.Worth a look if you are in the market for such a device.

Decent add-on to an XD-40
When I opened the box my first impression was that the unit felt flimsy and cheaply made, particularly when I compared it to the all-metal TLR-7 that I also own. However after installing the unit my impression changed. Its a perfect fit and a perfect color/texture match for my Springfield XD-40 Service Model. It looks like a factory installed accessory and feels more sturdy once securely mounted to the XD trigger guard. The laser was very close out of the box and almost co-witnessed with my Trijicon sights without adjustment. 9 yards seems like the optimal distance to minimize parallax errors and the windage adjustment made it easy to correct the slight off-center misalignment. The flash light is low power and suitable for about 10 yards only. This is expected because it uses a smaller battery than the TLR-7. The on / off switch is ambi but not conveniently placed. You have to stretch your finger out of the trigger guard to turn it on or off and cycling through options requires two hands. This may be better on compact XD models. I also feel that the on / off push button switch is flimsy and I would not be surprised if that is the first point of failure. I'll update my review to reflect longevity / reliability once I've used it for a while. Overall, for a hundred bucks its a decent buy for your XD and adds effectiveness to the weapon in low light, sub-ten yard, self-defense scenarios.

Works, fits, and looks great on the Springfield XD-9
This light/laser combo is of great build quality, and the perfect amount of light output. It is also extremely light. My primary use for this laser/light combo is to use on one of my home defense guns. I feel confident that if I were to deal with an intruder in the dark of night, this light/laser will help me stand my ground. The button interface is ambidextrous, and makes it easy to switch between light only, laser only, and laser + light. It even gives you the ability to momentarily turn it on by holding down either button. If you own one of the handguns that the TLR-6 can custom fit onto, I don't see a reason why you wouldn't get one. You won't be disappointed!

Great for Xd-9
This worked great for my xd but I had to return it because it only last about an hour with the light and 11 with only the laser on
