One of the best books I've ever read

Excellent description of how to develop relationships if you want them to become meaningful. Valuable for me on various fronts - as a relationship specialist and in my personal relationships. It also helps me understand what went wrong with relationships in my past. Great book!

I read this on holiday and it's really given me a template for looking at my personal relationships and help me understand how to invest more in ways that will bring about genuine closeness.

First off, I’m not a self help book girl but about a year prior to buying this book for myself, I found out my husband was having an affair.After awhile, he said the affair was “over” but I was still struggling and for some reason this book caught my eye (I wasn’t even looking for a book, I was buying Christmas gifts). I purchased it and it changed my life.. it wasn’t the reason I left my husband. The book made me look at myself differently.Yes….I did leave my husband and life was s so damn sweet.Matthew Kelly is a dynamic writer. When I reached the end of the book I found myself wanting more.Even if you aren’t a religious person, read it anyways.

I loved this book! It put a lot of things in reality into words. Great book!
