Airbrushed photo on Amazon & on the box doesn't show the five long "welds" that mar the surface. False advertising? Elsewhere on the internet, pictures show the weld/scars. If you're buying this for comfort, expecting a seamless smooth surface -- it's not.I'm a retired massage therapist, & I think that prolonged sitting might aggravate the sciatic nerve -- just my opinion, as I won't be testing it.

I GOT THIS BECAUSE I HAVE A VERY BAD BACK AND MY TOILET SEAT IS HARD. NOW I AM NOT A VERY BIG PERSON BUT AFTER ABOUT 5 OR 6 TIMES OF SITTING DOWN ON IT IT POPPED. LITTLE TINY BLUE BALLS WENT EVERYWHERE. IT TOOK ME AN HOUR TO CLEAN ALL OF THE TINY PEA SIZED MUSHY BALLS OUT OF MY BATHROOM. DO NOT BUY THIS IT WILL NOT TAKE YOUR WEIGHT AND WILL POP. AND AS A SIDE NOTE I WOULD NOT HAVE KEPT USING IT ANYWAY THE VELCRO THAT KEEPS IT IN PLACE KEPT POKING ME NO MATER HOW I WOULD POSITION IT. I HAD LITTLE SCRATCHES ALL OVER MY BUM. SO DO NOT BUY THIS IT SUCKS AND IT IS NOT WORTH THAT LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY!

I found this seat cushion to be comfortable, but wished it was more secure on the toilet seat. The back strap didn't hold well. Also, the gel isn't the same thickness all the way around as shown in the photo.

I have had problems with nerve irritation in my legs from pressure. I don't have enough fat in those areas. Helps cut down on sciatic like pain. Good product exactly as described. Fast shipping.This is an edit to above. I gave the product the benefit of the doubt. It was not like the ad photo. It was flimsy plastic with blue water and some little soft plastic beads inside. Where pressure was applied, all liquid shifted to another section. Like sitting on a balloon half full of water. It also started to leak after the first week and I only weigh 190 lbs. Flimsy and not gel filled.

In the picture it looks nice and full and like it would cover most of toilet seat. Actual product is barely filled with gel and has "empty" spaces that would fill in once you sat on it, but would only provide less than 1/2 of comfort gel. I would not recommend this product.

I recently broke my femur in four places, and was looking forward to having a very comfortably padded gel cushion to place on the toilet seat. This cushion is thin and flimsy, and what gel is there doesn't even go all the way around the cushion. It is absolutely unacceptable, but I am currently in a rehab facility and unable to either shop around for something better or send this flimsy Chinese thing back. Yes, I could have gotten a different one on line, but then I would still have this piece of Asian nonsense. I will have the therapists here reccomend a toilet seat that is padded. The sum of this rating is this : don't buy this item. It is nothing but junk. I gave it one star because I couldn't rate it Zero stars.

The cushion is nothing like the picture. It does NOT cover the seat in its entirety. The front of the cushion doesn't have straps so they move around and cause problems.
