The Verbal Reasoning Practice Book is really good to start with and also have ecopy access if need to practise more with coupon attached

This is a great Verbal Reasoning practice book. The book has comprehensive instructions / examples followed by a few more questions for them to complete presented in different ways that they will have when they eventually sit the exam. There is also some Assessment test to put t heir learning into practice.I will buy more of these as my daughter completes them and moves up school.

Good books of ten minute tests useful to give to children so that they have a ten minute task a day. Mostly good preparation for GL tests but some questions require written answers unlike the "real" tests. (If you are trying to decide, I find these better than the Bond books which I don't recommend to parents.) Presentation, space for working and type size are all good. The occasional puzzle pages are a really nice addition, testing useful skills but designed to make working through the book more fun!

My kid had been struggling with reasoning for a while and saw this book. Though I would give it a try and I was surprised to see how much it helped him understand.
