Chicken Wire Egg Collecting Basket "Jack" -- Oblong Wire Swing Handle, Copper

I was looking for a wire basket that I could keep on my deck to put pruning (small potted plants) and deadheading debris into - wanted something that if it got rained on would not fill with water and make a mess. This little basket is just right for this. Could be a tad larger but I think it will be fine. Gave it 4 stars as I don't know how it will hold up under weather outdoors - I don't intend to bring it in every time it rains. As it isn't galvanized, it may not last. Will submit a follow-up review later this year with update on how it held up.

Gave it as a gift to a beloved neighbor for collecting his chicken eggs. He lined the bottom with a towel to prevent them rolling as he walks with the basket. Sturdy, holds the 6 eggs he collects almost every day.

I have two. I keep one in the garden and one in the house, so I always have one on hand. I have a silicon basket for tomatoes. This is great for peppers, beans, peas.

It came in white but that’s ok. It works great. I’m using it to harvest from the garden

Just the style I was looking for ! A basket for eggs that was not top heavy and has a more sturdy bottom . Very attractive look .

Fun, decorative basket that I'm using in my bathroom to store extra rolls of tissue. Could have many uses, obviously.
