Very pleased
Will be slowly replacing my work jeans w/ these jeans. They're cheap enough where I could swap them out all at once but my jeans tend to wear out at the 5 month mark... I get holes in the crotch area or the back pocket area. I feel like these will last longer than other jeans but time will tell. Only had them two weeks but they feel like they will last. I had Red Cap as uniform pants at another job, so I knew to add an extra inch to my waist.. normally I'm a size 32 , so I knew to order a 33. I hope these last as long as I think they will... will update if they wear out at the 5-6 month mark like previous brands... (carhartt, wrangler, volcom, rustler.. all same problem...)Oh yeah, these look really good too. I wish they had a lighter color blue but hey it's for work... as long as they last and are comfortable , I can't be too picky about color... but yeah, they look great , feel great ,and time will tell with durability but they feel more durable from the rip

Quality materials, questionable construction, still great value
It’s great to see rigid, raw, unwashed, still startchy denim at this price. Love the fact that it is made close to home (Mexico) by a brand dedicated to serving quality affordable workwear to people who use it for work. Love the felled out seat, right hand twill denim, 100% cotton, medium /dark indigo color, and medium weight fabric. These might be the best jeans for the money, but, quality control is lacking.1st pair received has uneven belt loop spacing. Also, stitching at back (yoke?) is misaligned, and makes back pockets appear uneven. Pocket bag material is thin.Reordered same size. Tag shows different production batch. Stitching and belt loops are near perfect. Pocket bags are thicker. But, denim is lighter in color and size measures a full inch narrower at waist and thighs. Not comfortable, and not worth the wait and game of roulette to see what a 3rd pair would look like.I kept the 1st pair in spite of flaws.Still. Great value for price. Solid, sturdy stitching and fabric (even if uneven). Great raw denim fabric with some character. Good straight fit with no spandex Lycra plastic mixed in. The way jeans should be!Will buy again when these wear out, which will be quite some time!

Review for the skinny guys
The first fit of these jeans went about as I expected. They are a bit on the baggy side right out of the bag. Since receiving them, I’ve flipped them inside out, boiled them for an hour, machine dried them, and ironed them flat. I’ve done this multiple times. I actually ordered a size up in the waist to account for shrinkage for what I did. The result was good. They are a little softer and tighter around the legs. They are not form fitting by any means, but they’re a pretty good looking pair of jeans regardless. I will be buying more.

Great value heavyweight denim
When other companies raised prices and cut quality, I started searching for a new reliable source and assumed I'd either need to spend a lot more money, or accept the lowest disposable quality. I had never heard of the Red Kap brand before this purchase and was amazed to find jeans at such an affordable price. I was even more surprised to learn they are an American company and a quality on par with jeans I have spent 2-3x as much money on.

Too stiff and too hard
This is more cardboard than jeans. It is too stiff, scratchy and uncomfortable the length is right but it is right around the waist for the size point. This is going right back.Loved the color but that’s about the only good thing about it.

Bad fit but nice denim.
I liked the stiff raw denim and could see that they would fade nicely. They were too high and tight in the waist and way too big and wide in the legs. I don't want to wear pants up above my navel but that's how these are cut. If you want to dress like grandpa, these are for you.

Awesome Jeans!
I like the unwashed "raw" denim look. I was very skeptical when I found these (originally on Red Kaps website). I use to buy Rustlers rigid regular jeans because of the cool unwashed dark look of the jean. Rustlers fit a little baggy but I could deal because they're super cheap. I have bought numerous rigid Wrangler styles in the past. (I prefer MWZ47 out of the Wrangler styles). I was super surprised when I got the Red Kap rigid work jeans. They are comparable to Rustlers except the fit is cut better. Not as baggy. True to size. Nice deep dark color. They look great with a single cuff. I don't plan on washing them because in my experience rigid jeans are like raw denim. (shrink to fit). Very impressed with these cheap rock 'n roll snood jeans. These will probably be my new go to jeans.
