Humid Clean Cartridge (Pack of 4)

I clean my humidifier frequently and it always had that disgusting pinkish red mildew. I bought these but was very skeptical they would actually work. I cleaned my humidifier in the same way I always do and then dropped a cartridge into the reservoir after filling it back up. The time comes to clean it again and I was sure I'd see that nasty pink stuff when I lifted the reservoir off. I was very pleasantly surprised when there was none! I cleaned the humidifier and dropped in the same cartridge I had used before. Cleaning day comes around again and guess what? No nasty pink mildew! I will definitely be buying these again and again!

We’ve used these for a couple of years now in a sonic style cool mist humidifier and they work great! There us d to be a slimy film in the humidifier tank after less than a week of use. With two of these in a 1.5 gal tank, we only clean it out once a month and there is still no slime.I would caution anybody who had a demineralizer or carbon filter in their humidifier: these did not work at all for us until we removed both of those items from ours. I would guess that they end up filtering out or neutralizing the silver particles.

Meh. Arrived with one cartridge completely smashed and useless, blister pack popped open and those little balls just everywhere!I've used these before and they DO work! Instead of cleaning the tank every 3-4 days, these allow you to go about a month. Even then, you don't have to replace them until you notice performance degradation - generally about 6 weeks.

The Protec cartridges will filter the impurities in your tap water, leaving your humidifier running smoothly, and keeping its output as clean as possible. The only issue I had is that there was still a little gunk after the winter season while using the Protec cartridges as the manufacturer intended. Nowhere near as much as there would be without the cartridge, but more than I expected. With that said, I still will never go another winter without using these. Incredible product!

I've been using these for years. I use reverse osmosis water in my humidifier (which stops the crust from the hard water building up on the filters), but I has an issue with water/filter turning pink.I found the Protec cartridges suggested somewhere, and gave them a try.If I remember to swap them out every month I can generally get 2 (something 3 months) out of a filter (with the water and filter remaining relatively clean).

I put this in my top loading taotronics humidifier. Super easy to use. Just take it out of the packaging and drop it right in the water reservoir. It does it’s job and helps filter the water that gets released into the air. A good inexpensive option rather than having to constantly put purified water in there.

Very, very hard to find in stores. But if you want to make sure your humidifier doesn't get infected, use THIS product. Drop one in the tank and bam. Of course, make SURE you don't use tap water, ever. Always use "distilled" water as well.

I ran out of these and used humidifier without it and the water got icky if left for more than a day. These little balls keep your water fresh forever.
