Like the sheets, rug, decorative pillows, mattress, bedspread and blanket, this room was entirely sourced on a budget with this metal bed – from Amazon. Our little vacation rental needed a makeover while the local rental laws were changing, so the budget was pretty strict. On the day the room was finished we got papers demanding a halt to all rentals...so I'm thrilled we found decent quality on a budget. All that said, the family that has used it loves it. It's sturdy, easy enough to assemble, nice looking and it doesn't squeak. It cam beautifully packaged with no scratches or dents after crossing the Pacific Ocean. The box took a beating. The bed did not. Smart engineering and design. All on a tight budget. With a little work you get much more than you pay for. This was a great value.

The instructions are straightforward. Can be done by just one person, but it’s quicker to do with 2 people. There is a lot of storage space under the bed, and it doesn’t make noise after assembly. Great purchase

Admittingly, I'm not the best with putting furniture together, but I was able to assemble this one solo. The frame seems super sturdy, assembly wasn't bad and everything was wrapped to protect the paint, no scuffing on the pieces once I took everything out of the box. The directions do mention not to tighten everything up until everything is assembled, I took their advice and I could see why they put that in the instructions and highly recommend doing so. You'll need some flexibility the further along you get into the assembly process. I then worked backwards tightening everything from there. Only got one part confused along the way. Pleased with the construction. Everything was well labeled and stickered. Some of the photos could be a little more clear in the instructions, but wasn't a deal killer, just had to look a little extra at some points in the assembly process. I needed a leather headboard and frame for a spare room to achieve the look I was going for and this really hit the design I was looking for. I finished it off with a leather matching bench at the foot of the bed to bring in some more of the leather feel into the space. Overall very pleased with the purchase. I'd buy again.

This was one of the best items I ever purchased to be assembled. Direction were clear and in easy font size to be seen. The headboard has a sturdy upholstery that looks and feels good for the price. The metal frame parts all were labeled and screws fit in holes perfectly.

So I purchased this bed frame because I am overweight at about 450lb and needed good support. The advertised maximum weight for the frame is 800lb so I figured it should be fine. At about 6 months one of the support legs sheered itself from the frame completely breaking it, I added a block of wood to support it temporarily and couldn't get around to customer support because of their annoying requirement to take pictures of the whole frame + headboard sticker + broken parts. Over time 2 more supports sheered off in the exact same way, the center frame support bent in, 2 slats sheered off and the whole frame became very creeky. I was very careful with the frame, never flopped on it etc and only used it by myself. SHA CERLIN now refuses to replace or refund said item because its past the year change and I am screwed. DO NOT BUY FOR THE WEIGHT CAPACITY IT WILL FAIL YOU!
