Great Cards! Where is the rest of the picture?
I love the cards. They are thick and sturdy. The color is good and the footprint cards show the animals' relative sizes. What I don't like is how the company cropped the pictures before printing them. Tails are cut off, the trunk of the elephant is cut off, part of the cobra is cut off, and many of the feet are cut off. Wouldn't showing the feet be a priority for cards where you match the footprint with the picture of the animal that makes the print. The feet are cut off from the duck too. That makes no sense to me. You need to see the legs and the feet. Deer are large animals, but they have such thin legs and dainty feet compared to cows or horses. Kids need to see what the whole animal that makes the footprint. I see this as a major drawback, especially since about 1/3 - 1/2 of the picture cards have what I could consider "too much" cut off. If the company corrected this one little problem, these would be great cards.

Useless for US customers
These are for Europe residents, and does not cover North American animals (except for the few that are resident in both). Also, they are not flash cards, they’re a matching “game”, but both are labeled on the front so useless for learning. And the “tracks” are really poor drawings, thought the animal photos are good. But for learning tracks these are totally useless, even if you live in Europe.

Cheating at this is too easy
Maybe I misunderstood these cards and there are no instructions but I found these cards rather pointless? There are essentially 2 sets of cards - One with animal photos and one with tracks and info. The issue is that the cards with the tracks have all the info on the same side as the tracks so if you wanted to test your knowledge and match it with the cards of the animals, you couldn't avoid cheating! The name is at the top of both cards and a silhouette of the animal is on the bottom right. I was hoping this could be used to more blindly test tracks but you can't with these. I'll have to look for a different set.If all the info being shown isn't a dealbreaker for you, I will say the cards are nice and sturdy and were easy to shuffle and use!

The kid is going to go aniaml over these
Really. Aniaml. It was there in the picture when I ordered. It was there on the front when they came in the mail. It still took me 3 days to notice. :/ Actually, these look great for learning what critters might be in the backyard. Spelling might have to be learned by other means. So just get the kid some already. Ya filthy aniaml.

Cute gift but not great for US residents
I really wanted to love these. The photos are great but there are many animals that are not native to the US. A simple blue jay, should be labeled as a blue jay - I don't like confusing my son, especially as he's learning to read. These will be given away most likely.
