I knew when I ordered it that it was big but I was honestly shocked at how heavy and with how big it is it may be best to just build it where you plan to display it

Bought this for my son for his birthday we just received it today the box looked like it was open it had a bunch of scotch tape on it so we opened it and it’s missing bags 1-11 and there’s parts that have already been built and it’s missing book #2. Not cool for spending so much money!

Received the Magic Castle Building block kit a few months ago and have been slowly building it. The kit is huge! So far am very happy with it. We've assembled the base so far and have run into no problems.The kit came in a proper box, which was subdivided into 27 smaller bags. The instructions tell you which bag to open next so it's been easy to divide into seperate building sessions.Quality of the pieces seems on paar with name brand building blocks. The pieces all seem compatible with name brand building blocks.

The build could be better. There needs to be more locking points on the base. Over all though, I love it!

Added still more photos of progress- build is so much fun! Attention to detail is amazing !!!! What's not to love? Almost 7,000 of compatible interlocking bricks and hours (literally hours and hours! ) of fun. What a fun build for Harry Potter fans: here is the complete Hogwarts campus: Quidditch Pitch, Owlery, Great Hall, Hagrid's Hut, Astronomy Tower, the Cliffs, Clock Tower, Gryffindor Tower, the Forbidden Forest.Definitely recommend.More photos to follow….

Package does not have all parts. Every bag is missing 50-90 parts inside. EACH BAG. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MONEY AND TIME WAIST.

I can't review this since I bought it for some one else. They still haven't set it up so I can't ask them what they thought as well. Just an average 3 star. Can't say if it was good or bad.

Its fun and awesome, but if your expecting a lego product this ain't it. Its a time consuming project but the pieces don't always slot in the way they should.

Con sus más de 7000 piezas es un increíble trabajo de diseño.Tiene un instructivo claro en su mayoría (en algunas partes no se distingue bien si es café claro o gris claro) y bien detallado, la calidad de las piezas es muy buena, al momento de armar hay algunos pasos que obligan a forzar un poco las piezas, pero no parece que se vayan a romper.El resultado final es increible, tiene excelentes detalles y todos los lugares que puedes imaginar del castillo, sus jardines, el campo de Quidditch, la cabaña de Hagrid, el Sauce Boxeador, etc.La base en general es muy buena, aunque al momento de armar los terrenos y acoplarlos a ella, se siente que se pudiera desarmar, cosa que no sucedió.Como extra trae un martillo con cubierta de goma para "golpear" las piezas que pudiera ser difícil de ensamblar en su lugar.En cuanto al tiempo de armado, es difícil de decir ya que lo hicimos en varias semanas por periodos cortos, pero fácilmente se requieren 2 a 3 días para acabarlo.En general, un excelente castillo a microescala, con muy buenos detalles y un excelente valor para tenerlo de adorno.(Las minifiguras de las fotos no vienen incluidas en el set).Como punto extra traia una buena cantidad de piezas extra (última foto) para futuros proyectos.
