Instructions are peculiar.
The lamp looks nice, and works nicely with our decor. The instructions look like they were written by someone for whom English was about their sixth language: "Insert the wire into connecting and screw it up." So, I think I can figure it out--if I screw it up, I'll just be following the instructions.

Nice Light Wood Tone - Matches My Flooring
I chose this light fixture because it matched the flooring in the hallway where I installed it. As with many light fixtures, it's a little fiddly to install (one of those hanger straps would be a nice addition (so you don't need a third hand). It feels solid and of good quality. I think it looks a lot more open when you're looking up at it - or even when you're at the same height (like coming down the adjacent stairs) - than the photos might suggest. Attractive light bulbs, like clear LED bulbs, are a must because they're in full view. Personally, I like the look.

Rustic chic
Nice light. Easy to install. Bulb placement is adjustable. Photo taken after dark, but the outside is the same color as the inside. I bought 2 and no issues.
