Are these waterproof? Looking for lightweight grip protection for a tough mudder.

The adhesive on this product will stay on indefinitely. I have to use a scrubby to get the residue off when I take them off. That said, I don't think I'd want to wear them for hours during a tough mudder. It's adhesive and it starts bothering my skin after an hour or so. Also, these grips are specifically made for barbell/pull-bar work. They work great for that purpose. For mud races, I personally prefer gloves that I stow tucked in my shorts until I need them. Is this the same material as KT Tape?

Would these still provide a strong grip on a smooth pull-up bar without using chalk?

My gymnasts says chalk is absolutely necessary to use with these. Without chalk they’re slippery for her. But then again, she does more that just pull ups… they swing/fly on those bars. She loves them and with chalk they are the best protection for her calluses!

Great for tiny hands

These are a great option for my tiny baby hands! I've tried using leather grips and borrowed some from friends but I just can't maintain grip around the bar when using something that is so thick. These are excellent because I don't have to grip around even more. I have found that they work well for my CrossFit workouts. To be fair, if I put them on AFTER getting sweaty, they are not as secure. However, if I actually follow the directions and dry my hands, they grip well and stay there. Definitely good quality for their price!

Perfect saviour for my hands whilst on the rig Used in Ceossfit Comps and for Murph annual Wod Can become unstuck even with using the glue however that's due to the volume of work out moves on a rig Saves my hands every time from rips and tears
