Great Durability
I purchased this Tape 2 years ago and it’s still going. As an electrician this tape gets abused all day long everyday, this tape measure will outlast multiple expensive Milwaukee tapes that advertise all kinds of different coatings that supposedly make the tape stronger. This is a no nonsense tape that holds up better then anything I’ve seen

Don't get it Wet.
Worked great, easy to read, magnet is a nice feature. BUT, I got it wet while I was measuring my pool. Unfortunately, the very next day I noticed that some tape had extended about 3 inches from the base. I pulled it out a little to see if it would retract, and it did not. It is impossible to open up and air out without destroying the whole tape measure. So great Tape Measure, as long as you do not get any part of it wet.

Everything you'll want in a tape measure
I bought this 16ft Monster MagGrip to complement my 25 footer. I'm an electrician and I rarely require a 25ft tape measure, plus the 16 footer lightens the load on my tool belt.Prior to purchasing Komelon's line of tape measures, I along with every contractor used the ultra popular black/yellow Stanley. The problem with everyone having the same tape measure is that you can't tell which one is yours. Even if you etch your name onto it, it's always an awkward confrontation when trying to reclaim what someone else thinks is theirs. So I primarily purchased the Komelon because it stands out and (so far) prevents mistaken of ownership. Not only does it solve my dilemma, but it certainly doesn't compromise in quality. It's a solid build with aesthetics to match. Designed for maximum functionality, the oversized hooks on both sides ensures a tight grip the first time, every time. Additionally the powerful neodymium magnets embedded in the hook is very useful when working with or around metal objects (not advertised but its perfect for retrieving metal objects that may have fallen out of reach). Never thought I needed graduated markings on both sides of the tape but now I can't imagine using a tape measure without it. The one thing the Stanley has over the Komelon is that the Stanley's tape is wider and constructed from a heavier gauge, which means it can 'stand-out' (maybe 5ft) further before folding, but the drawback is a much heavier tape measure. In conclusion, I'm absolutely pleased with this product...but my only concern is that others will catch on to how great it is and soon it'll be everywhere.
