Works exactly as described
Exactly as described. I tried the battery charge and it didnt lasted a week with all the motion that my camera gets. With this panel I never have to worry about a dead battery. Ive been using it for months now and I have never gotten a low battery notification. Set up was extremely easy

Durable, useful, small
I have had this for a coupleYears now and love it. I have Only had to adjust it a handful of times to make sure it’s getting sun but have otherwise been able to let it be. It keeps my camera charged and I have Yet to have to switch the battery. It was relatively easy to install and has been worth the money. About the size of a kindle. It’s not really shielded from the elements and has held up remarkably well.

Highly recommend very reliable well worth the money
First, I bought one to see if it was worth the money, I figured if it didn't work out, I'd try a different one the next time.It was solid. I live in the Northwest cloudy all the time it held a charge even during the darkest of weeks. It does not need direct sunlight to charge as well. Then I bought a second one rock solid. Then I bought a third one still no problems might be on my way to getting a 4th. Definitely recommend.

Not up to capacity - Edited 8.2023
Facing toward the sky in the sunshine state, one would think that this thing would have power to spare. It's not keeping a simple camera charged. Will have to review again for connection issues but, so far, I'm not seeing this as the answer to more remote installation of the camera's.Looks to be a connection issue. Have one in the far north and the unit does what one expects it to do: keep the camera battery charged.Decent value.HOWEVER, do not! damage the cable. No idea how to get a replacement if such should happen.

Great addition to the camera
If you have a good light and position, but are still not getting the charge to the battery, be sure to give the plug a good hard push into the receptacle on the camera. The panel also delivers a charge, even from reflected a light, but I am sure it is not as good as the direct sunlight.

Very powerful charging
The batteries that come with the SimpliSafe outdoor cameras just drain way too fast. These are a bit expensive but holy cow do they work. I went from 68% battery to 100% in an hour with VERY LITTLE direct sunlight. Ever since it’s been at a steady 100% meaning I basically never need to worry about it again. Works much better than expected. Bought another one for my other camera that had better battery life just cuz it’s so convenient.

Not a good purchase.
Sadly I bought two of these at over $70 each. Now I’m out over $140 because they don’t work! Both are in full sun the majority of the day and I still have to bring the batteries in to charge them.
