Excellent for collection set

I've purchased the 3x3 and the 4x4, loved the quality and feel, how smooth they operate and how snug everything is. This is neither the 3x3, nor the 4x4. This is an abomination that shouldn't have been marketed. I can solve a 5x5 and 6x6, and have done so with competetors cubes, this is not operator error. To be specific: 3x3 and 4x4 are stickerless. This one has stickers, which are already wearing away not even a month into owning it. 3x3 and 4x4 are snug and have little wiggle room, when something is in place- it stays in place. This one, instead, is very loose, the centerpieces are constantly catching on one another and even nearly popping out because they were just a 1/16th of an inch off, despite the rest of the cube being positioned correctly. 3x3 and 4x4 flow well, you can effortlessly manipulate the cube and focus on the puzzle. This one, I spend more time fighting the cube to get a side into position than I do solving it, several times I've gotten so turned around I had to start over because the back end had a face piece that decided it wanted to pop out of position and an edge piece followed it out of the cube. A lot of words to express how much I respected the brand name until I got this cube in. I used to joke about just getting rid of it in a spectacular fashion, but after purchasing a full set of better cubes for a lower price from a competitor, this cube will be the first target I set up at the gun range this weekend.

Great for anyone ho like a challenge. Bought for my grandson who have accomplished all other of the Rubix cubes.

My 6 year old is getting into cubes and this is a challenge, but the negative for this is that the turning gets caught and hard to turn. Wish it was smoother at turning like some other brands

Recently, my review was removed because they misconstrued my review as question of authenticity. This is authentic alright. But this is not a question about authenticity. This is a question and review about QUALITY! Seriously, Rubik's and Spin Master?! This is not the same Rubik's Cube I knew. I owned several Rubik's Cube before, but these variant's - especially 4x4 and 5x5 are disappointing. You're developing your products backwards. I'm supposed to resell this variant (5x5), so I bought several of it, as this original variant is hard-to-find in our country. But I decided to return after opening a sample and found out it was not good for the following reasons: - Quirky and Shaky. The cube overall is very quirky and shaky, like it would disintegrate. It lacks composure. - Hard to spin. First thing I noticed, is it lacks the smoothness you would be looking for for an advanced more recent variant of a Rubik's cube. You'd feel while spinning the cube that there are unrefined surfaces under it that is churning against each other when you spin it. - Poor Workmanship. Some stickers are not laid out correctly. If you notice in the photos, some stickers are slightly out of place. - Lacks Integrity. Some parts of the cube is almost popping out. If you are a Rubik's fan that adulate this product - this particular variant (5x5) will disappoint you. No doubt Rubik's Cubes are the not the officially used speedcuber products in tournaments. You would be better off going with Chinese variants like Coogam Qiyi, GAN or Moyu Meilong. Rubik's and Spin Master - it might be time for you to really rethink the quality over the quantity of your product. It's disappointing. Again, Amazon, this is not a question about Authenticity - this is a review about QUALITY.

My son loves this 4x4 Rubik's Cube. It's easy to use and spin and it's size is very well proportioned. There is a lot of learning value for all ages to grow. The ease of use allows you to spin the sides with great speed.
