Made from 30% plastic
The description makes it sound like these containers are made from cornstarch, and are not made from plastic.That is misleading. They are only 70% cornstarch, the rest is plastic (5 PP). They can not be composted.On the positive side, they are sturdy. But looking for an ecofriendly container, I did not expect to get something made out of plastic.

Very affordable and Environmentally Conscious Product!
We purchased these containers to be used at a pizza "party" that our PTO put on for the teachers and staff at my son's school. Due to the pandemic conditions, we had to provide "to go" containers so the teachers/staff could take their pizza back to their classroom. We didn't want to use Styrofoam or some other container that would be hard on the environment, and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of these containers as well as the quantity we could get for the price. If I had to have a critique, it would be that they were slightly flimsy, but not too bad. Additionally, they kind of stick together, but then again, so do paper plates. I would DEFINITELY recommend HelloGreen products.

Very sturdy!
Very sturdy. I used it to pack Thanksgiving leftovers. It held lots of food and I mean LOTS. No leaking. I bought foil to line the bottom but didn't need it. The container closed tight and remained closed. Delivery was quick and arrived right when I needed it. 5 stars for sure!

The quality of these containers are amazing

Sturdy
They are a little more shallow than I expected, but they are a nice size and hold up well to wet food. They also don't get hot when you put them in the microwave. I use them to bring meals out to my husband when he is in the fields. It's convenient that I can put a lot of food in it for him without having to worry about if it will hold up.
