RoundUp was effective in my eradication of Japanese Knotweed. After digging up the major roots of the infestation, the remaining bits of knotweed were continuing to put up shoots. So getting rid of knotweed (a very hard task) always involves two parts: 1) digging up the roots, 2) spraying the shoots afterwards so that the RoundUp is absorbed into the remaining roots to kill them. After 2 years, the battle is won.The sprayer that comes with the gallon jug is garbage. You'll have to get a separate spray bottle.

I know in the heading I put weed removal. Fact is it is intended for the removal of weeds that pop up in between concrete and other landscaping setup you may have. I use it in a gallon spray bottle, so I don't have to continuously pump the manufacturer's bottle handle. It's also the reason I did not give it any stars for movability. As far as the inner product is concern, it is a great product. It does the job it was intended to do and quickly I may add. I continue to buy this product because it works.
