Arrived quicklyUsed on Motorhome roof fan 12v feed as been advised by trader that the Maxxview circuit boards can fry if the voltage is not regulated at a stable 12v DC.Only time will tell if it protects the roof fan circuit board

Very good voltage from no load to full load
I wanted to make a UPS for my security cameras, the cameras themselves are battery powered, but the base station is not and relies on 12volt power supply from a 230 volt adapter. I was wary of the voltages of having a 12 volt lead acid battery connected to a battery charger can be anywhere from 13.5 to 14.5 volts or more, and did not want to risk damaging he expensive base station where the system stores its video footage. I decided to try this voltage regulator, ( the 12 volt DC 6 amp model ) i intend to connected battery charger to battery and put the regulator between battery and base station to smooth out the voltage. With the battery charger supplying 14 volts to battery, and no load connected to regulator I measured the voltage output from regulator at 12.2 volts DC, I then connected a 65 watt car headlight bulb to regulator to draw 5.5 amps and voltage stayed at 12.1 volts. I am happy that the regulator will not allow any extra voltage to reach the base station and the battery will keep supply going for over 24 hours if we have a power cut, so the security cameras will keep working even with no power on the house....

This 12v 6amp regulator was used to power a 12v monitor an works a treat. Does what i need it to do flawlessly.Great purchase an would buy again if i felt the need to.
