Happy 5 year old!
The media could not be loaded. Didn't seem like a lot to me but she was over the moon she loves the secret compartment for the key and squealed with delight at the fairy inside. That's a good enough review for me!Seems sturdy enough and closed back up easily and nicely.

Would be good to know which doll is inside
With these types of products I think there should be an indication on the outside of the package for an adult to know which doll is inside. This would make it much easier to collect the whole set if collecting. The main thing I like about the bloopie fairy is the lack of packaging. This is much more eco friendly and easier for the child to get to.My neice loves playing with this when she comes my house. The package acts as a storage when she isn't here. She uses her imagination and plays with the stand to make the fairy light up. This is ran by batteries that come pre installed. I would say that the accessories can be easily lost because of the size.

Modern twist on the polly pocket
I ordered this toy for my 3 year old niece as she loves fairies- and I’d say it’s been a hit so far. This item is part of a colletable collection including ‘rare’ fairies, so there are multiple to collect. This is quite fun for little children as it’s a ‘surprise’ to open. The toy itself opens up into ‘the fairy house’ which has 9 accessories as part of the set. Each accessory can be found in the flower petal which really does have a magical feel to it when children first open it up. You have a ‘magic’ butterfly key which opens up the fairy house- this is included. Accessories included are: her fairy wand, a pearl, a skirt for the fairy, 2 wings, a fin and special power accessory. The body of the fairy lights up when you put her back into her house and when she is immersed in water- which is a great feature to this toy and magical for children. Each fairy toy has a ‘specific power’ unique to them which is great variety when collecting.Batteries are also included when bought. This is a great toy to entice a child’s imagination and help them to develop make believe play. Great for playing independently or sharing with others.Do feel the £18 price tag is a touch dear- I wonder if this is because it lights up?Overall though a lovely gift that will lead to hours of fun imaginative play. Happy to recommend.

Collectors item if it becomes popular
This is a Bloopies fairy toy. The features includes a key to open the flower lantern. Inside the lantern is a random fairy character with 9 characters to collect (...plus 1 rare one). There are accessories for the fairy and a pearl ball related to the character.Things I liked:• when the character in the flower lantern (or in water) then body lights up• good quality plastic mould• paint print is good qualityOverall, there is a level of collectability in this with an elusive "rare" character to find. If you child likes L.O.L dolls, then this is something similar. Only time will tell if this range of toy collection will become popular or fade into obscurity. Note: the light is powered by 3x AG10 batteries... which can be replaced (if flat) via inside the characters head.

Cute, light up fairy surprise toy. But expensive
This cute little set features a plastic, flower-shaped fairy house which opens with a key (concealed in the side). This comes without much packaging, just a band of plastic around the sides and a little plastic bag containing a leaflet with details about the series and characters in it.When the key is turned in the top of the house this unlocks and the house opens, with 4 petal sides dropping down. These houses come in a range of colours, and the version I received is a salmon pink, with a pale lilac handle and yellow flower-shaped trims. The fairy dolls are sweet. I got Kayla. The dolls come with all-plastic accessories, including a clip on skirt and wings, a wand, and 2 pearl charms. There is a little storage compartment in the side of one of the petals of the flower house so that accessories can be safely kept. The ‘magic’ of this doll is that she lights up (powered by 3 preinstalled LR41 cell batteries) when her feet are put in water or when she is placed in the stand at the centre of her flower house. The only problem I have with this is the price point. This is a lot more expensive than similar Cry Babies surprise toys from the same brand. The main difference seems to be that the Bloopies fairies light up – but there are also fewer surprises with this and the interior of the doll’s pod is less intricate. I don’t mind a couple of pounds extra for the light feature, but £5 more seems too much. This definitely shouldn’t be over £15.
