Well made but not bright enough
Great bedside lamp but not bright enough for me. It is well made and seems solid, and came with the right bulbs. The problem for me is that the shade is brass, so the light projects down, not out. If you just want a little bedside table lamp, it's great.

Warning!!! Product page is incorrect about bulb needed.
This review is more about the product description than the lams itself. There is a line that very clearly states that this lamp takes standard base 25 watt bulbs that are not included. This is incorrect. It takes chandelier base bulbs and it does come with 2. Frustrating because I ordered 25 watt standard base bulbs because of this line on the product page. I have no use for 25 watt bulbs. I already had plenty of chandelier bulbs.Other than this problem, the lamp is what I was expecting. It is small, but I got it for my nightstand to replace another that was just slightly bigger. I like having a touch lamp there. Makes it easier to turn on or off from bed.

EASY to assemble
I use it when I awake at night to get ready for work. I just touch it once and it comes on with a soft low dimmed light. When I am ready, I touch it again and it gets brighter; one more time brings it to a reasonable illumination.Then when I am ready to leave I just touch it again and it goes out.It takes the SHOCK out of waking up, stumbling around to find the switch and being blinded with a bright lamp.This is one of those items in life that delivers for the price you pay.ENJOY !!!

Beautiful, but not worth it if you have kids
dropped once, stopped working a week later. Beautiful, but not worth it if you have kids, dogs or are just clumsy.

Loved these lamps
Loved these lamps! My only concern is that the light was not strong enough to read unless you're right next to the lamp. Maybe if my bedside stand were higher, it would be better. The I enjoy just touching them and having them turn on without having to feel around for the switch.

Lovely lamp but woe if you touch it with a static charge on your finger
Lamp was just what I needed. Then winter came! One night a static shock turned off the light and it won't go back on even with new bulbs and trying different sockets around the house. Does anyone know a way to change a fuse or something to get it working again?
