Great for back-feeding phone lines
My electrician used CAT6 cable for Ethernet and phone wiring. My wiring is for two-line phones, but I only use a single line. I used this RJ45 to RJ11 adapter cable with the Monoprice 1 X 8 Telephone Module, as pictured, to wire my phones. I receive my phone service over a cable modem. I used this adapter cable to back-feed the 1 X 8 module via the RJ11 expansion port from the cable modem. If you follow the RJ45 wiring diagram for the telephone module, everything should work as it should. DO NO BACK-FEED THE BURGLAR ALARM PORT!

Not a 2-pack
Product fine and works as advertised, but was not shipped a 2-pack. Just one unit.

Didn't work for me
I thought a landline to ethernet adapter would work, when my new modem came w/o a landline jack. But what i needed was a splitter/filter...one side for DSL, and the other for my landline phone. Getting and making calls still makes my internet modem reset, but it's now less frequent.
