Amazing!
I’d never tried a waterline pencil until I got this one. Wow! I didn’t know what I was missing. But I probably use it differently than how it’s supposed to be used. First, I draw a soft line along the bottom lashes where the lashes grow (not the actual waterline), easing up on pressure as I approach the corner of the eye, smudge the line a bit, then move to the upper lashes. With those lashes pulled up, I draw a soft line along the lash line from underneath the lashes, as I did on the bottom lashes, but only go about halfway across the eye. Then I use the pencil as I would mascara, coating the lashes from underneath, on the outer half of the eye. All that gives the enhanced natural look that I like. I do need to be careful about rubbing my eyes and risking a dreaded smudge just beneath them—that’s the only downside of this technique. Otherwise, I’m happy with the pencil.

Love this!
I use this for my upper lid waterline and I have to say that it never came off! Maybe a little showed on the lower lid when I initially used it but I wiped it away and had no problem after that! IT really stays! I thought it was very pricey but is well worth it if it will last more than an hour and this certainly does last much longer. In fact when I took my shower at night I really had to wash my eyes twice to get most of it off and to be honest with you that makes me very happy!

Glad I bought it!
So glad I found this tightline eyeliner. It goes on smooth and stays on! Sometimes I don’t want to wear mascara and this is perfect for a natural, yet enhanced look. Sharpening it was a real struggle. I used the sharpener I had, just chewed it up. Bought another big brand sharpener, again chewed it up. Someone in the reviews suggested a child’s pencil sharpener, so I bought one, that didn’t work either. Through MUCH research I found one that really works! I bought a sharpener made in Germany on Amazon it’s called Sun's Out Beauty Precision 2-in-1 Cosmetic Pencil Sharpener. I was angry because I thought I was going to have to throw away my newish liner, I lost probably 1/4”-1/2” trying to sharpen it. Now it’s not an issue!! Love this liner and my new sharpener!! And no I don’t work for or am a sponsor of sharpener company. Just want to help others out, because the struggle was real!

How to sharpen the pencil
Does Urban Decay have to make this pencil so expensive?? It seems to work, though. But sharpening the pencil was very, very difficult!! There is no pencil sharpener that works with this pencil. The only one I found after much experimentation was "Sun's Out pencil sharpener" on the advice of another reviewer here. It seems to work well, but I think Urban Decay should make it easier by making a sharpener specifically for the pencil or at least address how to sharpen it.

Do not waste your money!
It's not worth the money, I expected a high quality for the price. Each time I try to sharpen it, it breaks. I have a little left after 2 weeks of use. See image.

Best ever! You will not regret it! Get one!
I work in a sweat shop and ride a harley Davidson and I tell you I did my makeup at 8am got home at 10pm it was still on point. Also to save on makeup wipes for years I use unscented, Un everything baby wipes and use them to remove make up. So much cheaper! GET this eyeliner! You will never get anything else! P.s. urban decay eyeliner creator! U r a godsend! You just got a customer for life! Already ordered backup! Oh and sharpens well. Get the kokie professional sharpener. It's 8$ it's purple and black and white. Has a rhino on it. Best sharpener I have ever found. Works the exact same as the estee lauder sharpeners I have discovered.

Glides on easy, didn't stay put
Went on so nicely, looked great but just didn't stay put. I was disappointed an hour after putting it on. I heard this was "the one" for staying put but unfortunately, that was not my experience.
