CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - Season 13

ONLY GETS BETTER AND BETTER
Of all the crime series I watch, the CSI series only seems to get better with age. This is an excellent season from end to end, witha especially superior finale. Don't miss the opening episode of season 14. I am constantly amazed that with the changing of the guard (the cast) of late, the excellent story telling continues. Only the fact that everyone except Russell seems to be divorced(!) onthe show. Even Sarah's marriage is falling apart. Yeah, this is Las Vegas, the divorce capital of the world, but still it seems odd.And I am still surprised how well Ted Danson fits in with the gang. And Hodges appears to have some problems developing betweenhim and his Italian sweetheart who I think is just using him to stay in the USA. Hodges works with a much more beautiful blond girlwho he belongs with and (hopefully) will get together with her eventually. She is the only blond I like; I prefer brunettes. Even Russell may be having trouble with his wife because she does not like the work he does. It could be worse; she could be marriedto Dr Sweets!! I would like to see a bit more humor injected into some of the stories like the producers do in BONES and CASTLE.Still, I gave this season 5 stars and have season 14 on my Video Library at Amazon. Of course I ordered the DVD for this andother shows from Amazon. Enjoy!

A really good crime show
Even though most of the original cast is gone by this season, this is still a really good detective show.

CSI VEGAS
Well the series continued to evolve right to the end. The filming, acting, and locations are very very good. Like anything at over 10 seasons you wish for a shake up of suspense and change up of the normal flow of events. They throw everything at you in this season. It's everywhere. They were ingenious at doing the wow that surprised me. It's steady inspiration of how fast things can turn. Believe me some episodes you'll need to rewatch. Personally love the fact that you can watch the episodes as much as you want. You can fast forward and skip .it's up to you and the dvd remote. Anyhow the series continues to prove its staying power. Get it and watch it.The delivery came nicely and quickly. Give the sniper an A+. Would order from this vendor again.Have fun watching and stay tuned for more. You'll definitely be entertained.

Meet the csi penthouse pet
The science is always great. Add personal drama for each character makes it better. Season finale imaginative but undercover mission implausible. With brody naked the mission can only turn out badly. Strange departure a convenient out csi is tv-14 .yet harnois appears to be topless Why so if that could not be filmed.the set turned into a strip club for crew and cast .A believable scene not as important as a seductive, compliant and naked Morgan. Not really CSI.

MORE GREAT CSI!
The CSI saga continues...................not missing a beat without the major past cast members. Says a lot about the writing of this show and the quality of the acting talent they continue to get. "Bad Girl" Jules is a great diversion from the prim and proper Katherine now departed, and Ted Danson continues to impress as DB Russell. Now....what would be great is some return visits from Katherine (as an FBI agent) and Grissom, maybe for a two-parter? Katherine clashing with Jules would let the sparks fly big time. It would also give the writers a chance to profile Grissom and Sara's explosive relationship a little further. And, have another great actor (say, "Fringe" Alumi Anna Torv?) do a guest shot as another female serial killer? That would be great stuff! The best episodes in CSI's now 14 year run have always been where the principal characters come up against villans who are every bit the equal of the principals in intelligance, and are more than capable of defeating them! (the minature killer, the suicide killer "Paul Milander" from Seasons 1 & 2, etc. the list goes on. Maybe even another fine "Fringe" alumnus like John Noble to do a guest appearance as another "mad scientist" who could clash with DB? Also....Bring back LADY HEATHER (so greatly played by the excellent Melinda Clarke)! GREAT TV.

Great Show
I read the reviews on this season and I must say that I do not agree that it is a horrible season. There have been ups and downs with this show, mostly due to cast changes and the incredibly different personalities of each new cast member. I am thinking with the day and time change to Sunday that this series is on it's way out. Although I liked Brass in the later seasons, I hated the stories about his daughter. And really any personal life stories just irritate me, I watch for the crimes and the way they are solved. I don't care about any of their personal lives. So yeah, maybe this does suck in some respects but I still want it in my collection.

Only started watching halfway thru Season 12, so...
Okay, first off I only started watching this show halfway thru the 12th season, so I can't compare the 13th season to any of the early ones. I started watching primarily because I am a huge Elisabeth Shue fan. That being said, I have to admit that I have grown to enjoy the show as a whole. A lot of reviewer's don't seem to care for Ted Danson's portrayal of D.B. Russell. Most feel that he is miscast in the role. I, however, disagree. I find the character to be very likable and believable. As a fairly new fan I'm not sure how relevant my opinion will be to die-hard's who've been with this show from the beginning, but I give it 5 stars, and would definitely recommend it, as well as season 12.

New cast came together better than anticipated!
While season 12 had a bit of a slow start and felt a bit hesitant until about halfway through, season 13 starts with a bang, and continued to entertain. I was one of the very skeptical ones as most of the original cast is now gone - but the new additions, thus far, seem to be holding their own. Elisabeth Shue somehow manages to be abrasive and at times, even obnoxious without alienating a certain amount of sympathy for her passion and impatience that drives her to try and circumvent the rules. And the byplay with the former caricature that was Eckley and his daughter has lent him more humanity, as well as given us an unlikely but very likable new character in the form of Morgan. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the season.

CSI Seanson 13 - Gut, jedoch nachlassend

Beginning to show its age...but....
The Csi: New York was good. Too bad it disappeared; it starred one of the finest actors of these times. The Las Vegas show, however, is no slouch in that department. Ted Danson brings a solidly strong presence to the show and lifts it up to where it was years ago. For a year or two it looked as though the show would tank, but it now should have a few more good years. The supporting cast does need some work though. Elizabeth Shue just keeps her head above water. Her character seems at odds with her own nature. And what are they doing with the love-lorn unlikeable technician. He was never good, but now the part is so scrambled in how he is perceived by the writer that it would be best to write him right out of the show - perhaps kill him off in some fascinating way and let the rest figure it out, only to discover that it was suicide. And who stuck Jorja in a revolving door? She is there, then gone, back for a line or two, gone again, week after week. When it goes off the air - two years? - it will be like losing an old friend. Meanwhile, there is much to enjoy as each season only has one or two duds.
