The last pair of socks you will ever buy. The ONLY socks I will wear.
I work on my feet for a living. I have worn these sock for years. Summer, spring, winter, fall - they are comfortable in any weather and last FOREVER. I have purchased at least 20 pairs of Wigwam 40 below socks over the past 5 years. I literally am still wearing the same socks I purchased back in 2015 and they are the ONLY socks I will pace on my tired, old feet.Comfortable? The first time you wear a new pair you will marvel at how they feel. That feeling fades a bit over time and as they are washed, but they are still the most comfortable socks (even after years of washing) that I have ever come across.Step in a puddle in the kitchen and they dry in a jiff. Going to go on a 8 hour hike? Your feet will remain as cool as a cucumber. I rarely leave rave reviews regarding anything. Wigwams are worth itLast week, one sock finally gave up the ghost and developed a small hole. For the price and as often (every day) as I wear them, and the amount of times they have been washed/dried, I have to admit that Wigwams 40 Degree socks are the finest I have ever worn and the ONLY socks I will wear.I even give these socks away as gifts (new one's of course). I've never had anyone I gifted these to have anything other than the highest praise for the comfort and performance Wigwam sock provide.Get a pair. Immediately. You will not be sorry.

Good price - good service
I had some concerns after reading some previous reviews of eSource orders (items not sold or shipped by Amazon) BUT our experience with eSource gives them a 5 star. Order was exact & received quickly so we are pleased (and relieved).

Oh, these socks are awesome .
I’ve got a pair of the socks that are about 20 years old and I had to buy two more additional pair. Good choice they really keep your feet warm.

Warm feet!
I wear heavy, insulated, waterproof, work boots. I use these socks with liner socks inside and have had my feet in the boots for up to 24 hours in the North Dakota oil patch. my feet stay dry, because of the liner sock, and the 40 below socks take in the moisture while staying warm. A great combination for my uses. No blisters, and if carefully put on (no wrinkles in either) they keep my feet comfortable for extended periods. It doesn't get any better than that in my work environment.

I recommend them to my Relatives
I am inserting a memo below that I wrote to my Nephew in 2017 concerning Wigwam socks. I think it says everything. I have recently purchased more of them, not because the others have failed, none have. I am purchasing them because my feet are now more sensitive to cold weather and I need a few more pair to get from wash to wash. See the memo below:."I wanted to pass along info on a -40 boot sock I found about 5 years ago in an attempt to find something more durable than smartwool. I found these Wigwam socks at Dick's sporting goods for about $14 per pair. Now I don't wear them every day, but they have gotten plenty of wear over the past 5 years and the two pair I picked up are still going, although the heel in one of the pair is starting to show wear. My Wife picked up some more of them for me for Christmas so I now have 5 pair including the original. They are 50% Wool, 48% Nylon, and 2% Spandix. I suspect I was attracted to the high nylon percentages. I had some 100% nylon socks once that lasted in daily wear from my high school years until I got married, some 15 years. They probably are not as warm as the warmest smartwool, but they will be around a lot longer."

Seem more like dress socks than minus 40
I have socks from Walmart with same ratio of components and they are extremely comfortable in my winter boots. These literally are on the thin side and feel more like dress socks or that you need to be wearing a couple of pairs. Haven't tried them in real cold weather but have tried them on with my boots and I will be wearing the Walmart pair to get comfort level I'm looking for before using them by themselves I will rely on what has worked till I can try them. Still would have to double up to meet the comfort level of a lot less Walmart socks

Hunting socks
Best for deer hunting here in Midwest winters. Get thin in heal after a year or two but warm

Last pair of socks I'll ever buy.
5/5.VERY durable socks.Awesome construction.Runs very large.I've walked a lot in these socks this past winter. These socks have been everywhere and have helped me tackle miles of walking in NYC, DC, countless other cities, and even in the great outdoors of Florida. They keep the feet warm and after countless miles they still show no signs of wear. I would purchase these socks again in a heartbeat.However... they are rather large. I wear boots so it wasn't a big deal for me and I got used to hiking them up and rolling the tops to rid the extra room, but it may not work out with some people.Honestly, I'm still surprised at how cheap these are.To put into perspective of how durable these socks are, I have worn the same pair every single day for the past 2 months straight, and I have walked countless miles through both city and wood, and I continue to wear them to this day. They have not been washed since wool does not harbor bacteria, so they smell fresh no matter what. All other socks I have worn have gotten holes in them in the matter of a month, but from my experience with these, I won't ever wear another pair.

If you need a 40 below heavyweight sock--get these. They're Wigwam and they work.
I live in northern Alberta and we get some high quality cold up here, every year. These hold their fit and durability, wash after wash, and they're exactly as described: a heavy weight boot sock capable of comfort in 40 below weather. The thing is, they breathe enough that they aren't overly warm when worn inside the house--but put them in your good cold weather boots and they're a toasty dream. I'm very happy with this purchase. I wear them whenever it's really cold, and I always keep a pair in my bugout bag, too.All that and they have the usual Wigwam durability and excellent fit. I wear a 9.5 shoe and wear medium.

Buy one, buy all...
These are an extremely good pair of socks. My friend convinced me to buy a pair of these after his recent purchase. Long story short, Wigwams are now all that I wear for socks... They are like walking on clouds. I've worn these in -35c in steel toe cowboy boots on the ice and didnt have cold toes.edit: blew a hole out in 5 months of regular wear. will see how their warranty is.

warm
Got them for my husband who works outdoors (snow removal) and he came back saying they were almost too warm (he insisted on wearing two pairs of socks still. With these I think he has learned just one is fine).I would recommend to anyone who has cold feet either inside out outside.
