distribute cat 6 cables to outlets

Works fine with both CAT5 or CAT6 patch cables. CAT6 cables tend to be a little thicker so more than 24 in one neat patch can get a little crowded. I've packed 48 CAT5 patch cables into one neat patch. I don't think I would want to try that with CAT6 patch cables.

That is the package dimensions, next to that information, it says package dimensions, not the product dimensions. The 1U option takes up 1 rack unit (1.75")

What is the depth required from the front of the rails to the front of the wire management, i need to be able to close a cabinet door?

it's 3 inches and in a server rack or network cabinet it fits perfectly.

The listing states they come with 1ft patch cable, I have always used 2ft pat cables with the neat patch. Why the change to 1ft patch cables?

The original 2U Neat Patch comes with 2FT patch cables, as usual. The new 1U Neat Patch comes with 1FT Patch cables due to the reduced space in the unit itself. Electriduct can offer you the 1U with 2FT cables if desired.
