The shoes just arrived today and my husband put on and out the door he went. So much for a holiday surprise. The sole is a bit thicker than most and perfect for the colder weather. When my husband came back I asked how they were and he said “I am very pleased with how comfortable and how the soles being thicker kept my feet warm”.I will say I ordered dark brown, the box said dark brown but don’t expect a dark brown.
